general problems of the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 - part 2

I was driving and was hearing a whining noise from the rear differencial. I took it in for a service. During the service the shop found a chipped tooth so because the truck was under warrenty the shop was nice and only charged me the time to pull the cover. I took it to a loal dealer and it took a week to fix because I was needing my vehicle to go on a planned vacation the next week. Then at 73000 and a year later the trucks diff started to make a whining noice again and I called the local dealer again and they told me that I was out of warrenty and it was going to cost me $2600. 00. So I called around and 4 wheel drive parts gave me a better price so I had them change the gear ratio (4. 56) and put an after market lsd (auburn locker) and now I am schedule to take the truck in again because it is makeing noise again at 95777 miles. Just sick of the problem and not looking forward to the possibility of the diff seizing and putting my family in danger or possible death. $ wheel drive parts told me that the chyrsler 9. 25 diff is a very bad diff and they recommended me to switch it out to a dana 60 because that is the diff the 3/4 ton have and never have a problem. Just cost to make the switch is very expensive. I like the truck just not this weak spot in the vehicle.

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, engine rpm's surge consistently with no consequence other than the truck shutting down. Starts back most of the time with no problem but there has been instances where the truck does not want to restart. While driving the rpm's run fine but when you decelerate for turning or parking or intersections the truck is slow to gear down and the rpm's surge again shutting the truck down. This is a constant problem with the truck.

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab 5. 7 liter has stalled multiple times. Usually immediately after start up or at low speeds.

The rear axle broke on this truck and I made the report on your website back in 2004 and I also contacted Chrysler and they sent someone to check the truck and these guy said to me and my mother that we were lucky to be alive. I kept calling Chrysler requesting a copy of the report made by this person and they have ignored me till now. This is the reason why I reported the accident to your office because the "accident report" is very clear what broke in this truck. If you look at my original complaint you will read about the loud noise coming from the drivers side an hour prior to the accident. I have been in contact with Chrysler asking over and over for a copy of the report and they keep denying it, and this is what I need your office to help me obtain from them. You will see that this problem existed prior the recall on the 2005 trucks. Whenever Chrysler writes to me they write about "air bags" completely ignoring the request so to me is very clear they are hiding something. I know the truck was fixed and sold to someone named "pedro osaga". My insurance paid off the truck to the rental company and my mother and I incurred lots of injuries from this accident and it makes me sick that this manufacture continues to hide the truth from me. Please I'm asking again to help me obtain the report made about this truck regarding the cause of the accident from Chrysler.
