Galaviz auto repair & tires748 n arizona Ave, chandler, az 85225 according to them I got a deal, 4 brand new tires for my Dodge Ram 1500 for 400. Me being a female, not knowing much, didn't notice the brands were not even the same and size on two were not like the other two. They weren't brand new, used and supposedly a year warranty. The reason I went back was to check on the tire recall, owner and son said they don't do recalls or report and transactions with NHTSA. Have no records of tires sold at there shop. I was screwed over by an ex CO worker selling tires at his own acknowledgement. They couldn't help me with any thing that has to do with recalls.

I purchased 4 new vee rubber tires on 12/5/15. Since the purchase I have put less than 20,000 miles on the tires and have now experienced two complete blowouts in which the side wall of the tires appears to have disintegrated while driving. Had I been driving on a freeway or at a speed over 45 mph I definitely would have lost control of the vehicle which may have resulted in severe injury if not death.

Driving my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 truck; in the last six months I had two blowouts and two flat tires on tires that have less than 10,000 miles the tires are manufactured by nitto. I contacted the corporate office and they explained that there is no recall on the tires and I should made certain there was proper tire pressure. (there was) I either repaired or replaced the tires. My concern is safety. Is there a recall on nitto tires?.
I was driving along on highway 70 and had the tire separate and explode. I then went in and has the tire replaced. This then again happen a second time within 500 mile but I was able to stop before the explosion. You can see though the tread where the steel belts are showing and sticking out though the tread. Same make model and life of tire. ~4 years old and ~40000 miles. The tire is 5 year 60000 mile tire. My wear is only half life. I replaced the first tire under there prorating but the second time it happen I try to explain to them they is not just isolated incident. They told me that there tire are good, it your problem not manufacturing defects. They said they will only prorate and will not investigate in to issue of it possibly being a manufacturer fault.

Tires are wearing unevenly, all four of them. We noticed this at 20000 miles!! we noticed noise coming from the truck and when the dealership took the truck for road inspection they said is the tires. And of course, they are not responsible, that I have to go with goodyear CO. And make a claim. We used the truck to drive to and from work only! we do not take the truck off road or even to our neighbor country (mexico) because of road conditions there. The tires are wearing unevenly and make this terrible noise we have to live with. Who is responsible for this ? we take the truck every 3000 miles for oil change to the dealership, they will recommend tire rotation at 6000 miles or so, we do as they recommend, but now, no one is helping out! how come they did not notice this early wear in our tires?.

My tires on my truck are wearing extremely unevenly even with constant tire rotations. Good year tells me it is an issue with Dodge, Dodge tells me it is within goodyear. The tires only have 31,258 miles on them and have been showing excessive wear. I only drive the truck to & from work, do not take it off roading which would wear the tires even more. I was instructed by goodyear not to take the truck for long drives in the rain or up to the snow when it starts to snow here. After Dodge looked at them they referred me to goodyear saying the only thing they can think of is the truck has alot of its power on the right side, another excuse. I have researched and found that right around the 30,000 mile mark is when alot of other Dodge ram owners are experiencing this kind of problem with the tires. This is a huge safety concern for my family as well as other families on the road. If something were to happen who would be at fault ? OH yes the driver, not goodyear or Dodge even though this issue has been brought up to them. So the enjoyment of taking my family to play in the snow is compromised because when the tires were inspected by goodyear they feel it is an issue. I asked how many more miles might I have left on the tires and was informed maybe 3,000. Now I have looked online on goodyears website and the lowest mileage for the tires that I have is 50,000 miles for a warranty. So I am losing out on about 20,000 miles worth of tire tread. This is in regards to all 4 of the tires wearing unevenly "cupping. ".

Driving my 4 month old new 2012 Ram 1500 4x4 in mid michigan after our first measurable snow fall. On the way to my ram dealer for a scheduled oil change in (four wheel drive) at 35 mph. Slid right by the dealer on the snow, tires lost any and all ability to control vehicle. Spoke to service write up girl about it, and talked to my salesman also voicing my concerns. Told them these are absolutely the worst tires I have ever drivin on the snow with bar none. Slid into my sons car when I returned home. . . . . Not happy with these tires at all. Why would they market these for a four wheel drive vehicle?.

I had two almost fatal accidents as the result of the good year wrangler hp tires I had on my 2001 Dodge truck. Good year had me send on each event the tires that created a blow out, for no reason at all, they even had me complete a full proper damage claim because they were settling on these tires and all the issues people have. My case was automatically denied, they told me that in both cases I ran over something, but admitted that they never looked at the tire, they didn't have time. So, the auto deny everyone, I guess because not enough people have died as the result to their faulty product (tires), I have replaced all my tires with michelins and have incurred an out of packet expense of $2500, for tires and damages. The money is not the issue; but more importantly that good year needs to recall the tires, or is the percent of deaths or injuries within their allowed threshold? who makes them accountable for a bad product that will kill and hurt more people, family and children? I don't know what it takes for someone to stand up and say to the large corps of the world that they need to be accountable and that they need and should recall these tires, not just provide small settlements for damages, but do something that will save lives,,, please let me know what I need to do to be heard,, people need to know the facts and dangers of these tires.
Traveling FL turnpike in palm beach county. Typical week-long heavy rain in may with standing water. Dodge Ram 1500 with goodyear wrangler hp 275/60r20" tires. I was driving approx 45 mph due to rain and standing water in a 65 mph zone of the middle lane when the tires lost traction and I hydroplaned. The truck began to fishtail. Being a professional driver of a fire truck I used proper corrective techniques to compensate and avoid rollover and avoided other vehicles. I crashed into the right safety guard rail. Crash caused damage to front bumper and both front/rear 1/4 panels. Afterwards I looked up the reviews of this tire and found multiple complaints of inadequate traction during wet conditions and similar experiences.

Operating vehicle on florida turnpike at 70 mph when I experienced a blowout to the right rear tire. My vehicle began to lose control, however I was able to recover. Reason for blowout: tread separation- defective tire - tire failure.
My 2006 Dodge ram has the goodyear wrangler hp 275/60r20 installed. My truck just turned 40k. My tires are always rotated and proper tire inflation. I noticed recently that my truck started vibrating. First it was minor then it finally is too much to bare. I had taken it in twice before thinking it was a balance weight issue and each time the tire stored removed or added a small amount of weight. There was a big difference coming back from a 1400 mile road trip recently. At first there was the usual small vibration, but at the end of this trip the whole truck shaking bad. I took the truck in for the 3rd time and come to find out the rear tire was finally showing signs of separation. I was told that I was very lucky that this tire did not separate during my trip. I plan on contacting goodyear, but from what I have read online they don't seem to care or will blame it on driving style. I have yet to find someone that has received a warranty or pro rated price for new tires. Dodge needs to stop putting these on the trucks or someone will get killed, like my family almost did.
Product quality defect- poor product quality of goodyear wrangler tires recently created unsafe driving conditions for myself, my family and other motorists. Due to the radial band separation issue in a goodyear wrangler hp tire (size p275/60/20) the tire created excessive bouncing and wobbling of the tire at speeds over 40 mph creating inability to control my vehicle on the highway. I had the tire replaced immediately (with a bridgestone tire) and the issue was resolved. When I contacted goodyear quality dept. They asked I have the tire inspected by a goodyear dealer, which I did, and the dealer confirmed the radials where /compromised/broken in numerous places. Goodyear did other a $45 rebate on my next goodyear tire purchase which I declined as I will not place my families safety and well being in their trust any longer nor will I be purchasing goodyear tires. The tire had approx 15000 miles on it with ~50-60% tread left. (confirmed by the goodyear dealer. ) no explanations or apologizes were offered by gy which displays their disturbing lack of business savvy. I have 3 vehicles in my household and will no longer support such business practices by purchasing unsafe products. I have seen several safety concerns with this tire on internet blogs but thought it best to officially post to NHTSA. I also observed information regarding product safety claims by the steelworkers union (link on your website) regarding the safety/quality of goodyear tires around the same time by vehicle was produced. (not sure if my tire was produced in the same factory) I would like a formal complaint issued to goodyear if feasible and/or at least acknowledgement of receipt. Thank you for your time. (goodyear claim number 1089986).
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact noticed that the tires were wearing prematurely on the vehicle. The dealer stated that the tie rod needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was repaired after every failure. The manufacturer was notified. The contact was informed of NHTSA campaign number: 13v528000 (steering), but the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was 31,000.
I had purchase 4 tires and only had traveled 5,000 miles . The company I bought them from did not tell me the warranty on the tires until one of them the belt separated I purchase them March 08 and in sept 09 is when it happened. I took it back to the company and they informed me that they only had a year warranty on the tires. They told me that I would have to purchase another one which this was a manufacture defect in the tire. And they told me that they would get with the supplier and see if they could get me credit on the tire. Still not hearing anything about the tire I had another one to separate on 12-19-09. I went and had all the tires and rims taking off of my truck and purchase new rims and tires from a different place and then I went back to the company where I had purchase the defective tires and showed them again that another separated he then wanted to get it and let the supplier see it and I told him not until I hear anything about the first one that he had sent back. He has had the 1st tire for almost 4 months and now he wants the rest I think not. I want a total refund of all my tires but he is talking about tread wear credit. They should not go by that since those tires are defective. Dotu865 ns all-sport performance x/p. Nankang 792 0507 h5.

The contact owns a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. The vehicle has cooper discoverer atr tires, size 245/75r/16 (na). While placing tire shine on the tires, the contact noticed that the driver's side tire was showing signs of separation. He was also able to see the radial part of the tire. The manufacturer advised him to take the vehicle to a tire shop for inspection. The mechanic at the shop stated that the tire was defective and other tires were beginning to display signs of tread separation. He consulted the manufacturer again and they stated that since the tires were not the size cited in NHTSA campaign id number 06t016000, they were unable to assist. The current and failure mileages were approximately 136,000.
