The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis where the technician stated that the hvac recirculation door actuator would need to be replaced. There was a manufacturer's recall for the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
