Failure Date: 08/11/2007

- the contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. While driving approximately 55 mph on normal road conditions, a loud noise was heard coming from outside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection. The failure was related to the rear axle spring which was replaced. In addition, the upper and lower ball joint, and the tie rod were replaced. The hub bearing assembly was partially attached with three loose bolts and one bolt missing. The repairs were covered under the service warranty. The vehicle was taken to an independent tire shop on six separate occasions for the identical failures. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on three separate occasions which there were no resolutions. The failure mileage was 30,000. The current mileage was 50,000.

2 Axle Hubs problem of the 2004 Dodge Ram 3500

Failure Date: 06/11/2007

1) my 1 ton 3500 Dodge truck just came out of park on its own after about 5 minutes and backed into the side of another car. I was sitting in the drivers seat using the phone and in park and it decided to go into reverse after about 5 minutes 2) the right front wheel bearing seized up from lack of grease at 52,200 miles. No damage or accident, it just sounded really bad and quit turning.
