The contact inspected the vehicle himself and found that the blower motor wires were burned and caused the blower motor to fail. The contact stated that the blower motor wire and the ignition were all in the same harness. The vehicle was previously taken to an independent mechanic for the failure and the wires were replaced; however, the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer was not notified. Blend door breakage in side of blower unit for heater/ac. I have had this happen two times and as a result have almost had an auto accident both times due to not being able to defrost-defog the windshield and side windows.

Car maker produces an inferior product; Dodge mega cab vehicles have inferior blower motors connected to the a/c and heating systems. Therefore, in the summer time it takes an inordinate amount of time to cool the vehicles interior. (southern states. . . North, south carolinas, georgia, florida, texas. . Etc).
The contact owns a 2003 Dodge Ram 3500. The floor and defroster vent failed. When the window was frosted, the vent would blow air, but not defrost the window. The contact replaced the heater flap before and it currently needs to be replaced again. The failure mileage was 160,000 and current mileage was 198,000. Updated 3/18/08
