The contact owns a 2005 Dodge ram 350. The contact was driving approximately 30 mph, suddenly, the vehicle traveled across the road without warning. The contact was able to gain control of the vehicle. When the vehicle came to a complete stop, the tie rod detached from the passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the tie rod, drags and links were replaced. The vehicle was inspected at an authorized dealer prior to the failure. The failure and current mileages were 87,900.
