2007 Dodge Sprinter I have had 3 of these vans that have had thier swirel valves (intake manifold) go bad. When this happens the van has no power and is unsafe to drive. I was told by the dealer this happens all the time.

Failure Date: 09/08/2006

: the contact stated the vehicle was constructed without a tailpipe, causing the vehicle interior to become covered with diesel exhaust soot. The vehicle was taken to a service dealer, where the dealer researched the manufacturing specifications of the vehicle and confirmed that the lack of a tailpipe was the standard. There were not immediate repairs made to the vehicle.
