While driving my headlights go completely off. The only thing that works are the park lights. I pull back on turn signal to engage the high beams. This is the only way I can see. When using high beams other drivers are flicking their lights at me but there is nothing I can do about it. I'm scared I'm going to wreck. I don't get off work until it's dark & I'm afraid I'm going to wreck. It happens with the lights on automatic or regular. It happens everytime I drive at night. It's getting worse every night.

The left turn signal works sometimes but blinks rapidly most of the time. No bulbs are burned out. Sometimes the dash lights go out when the headlights are turned on and then the dash lights come back on when the headlights are turned off. Sometimes the dash lights come back on even with the headlights are on but the dash lights are very dim. It is becoming more dangerous to drive when you can't count on the dash lights or turn signals working. Ford has told me there is no recall for this year having a bad light control module. There was a recall for Crown Victoria years 2003 through 2005. My car has 111,566 miles.

While driveing at night my headlights went out I had to use ermergency flashers to safely see the road and to stop my car,. After a while my headlights came back on. I was on the highway at the time. I had the car inspected and was informed that the car had a defective light control module. I was also told the lcm controled all the lights on the car. I took the car to a Ford dealer in olathe KS and was told the module was a recall item for that car. My son left the car there to be repaired, when the the car was ready my son had to pay 170. 00 for for Ford to replace 2 fuses to restore taillights the bad module had blown. Paid the bill took car home, 2 days later taillights, turn sig and brake lights stopped working again. I returned the the car to Ford to be repaired, the next day I was informed that fuse f23 was missing and when it was replaced it restored service to my lights. Fuse f23 has no bearing on taillights turnsignal or stop lights . Turn signals ,brakelights are on different circuits and cannot be protected by the same fuse. Also Ford is using the excuse that the recall only covers the headlight failure, it is my position that Ford is responsbile for the module and the related repairs ie fuse replacement. It is obvious the tech failed to properly install the the plug into the module causing the tail, turn, and stop lights to fail after 2 days. And to add insult to injury I was charged another 59. 09 for a fuse that had nothing to do with the problem. My daughter in law and wife both recieved tickets for driving with defective equipment.
Driving from the airport in rockford, ill. - all headlights went out. Fortunately, I was in the far right lane as was able to pull over. I was able to continue only by discovering that holding the brights/turn signal lever in, enabled the headlights to come on. I was truly fortunate, that no one got seriously injured as this was on a major highway. A recall needs to be issued immediately by Ford to ensure that no one dies because of this!!!!! any thoughts?
