The contact owns a 2008 Ford Edge. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced a severe lack of power. In addition, while the vehicle was operated at various speeds, the contact heard an abnormal noise from the rear wheel hubs. The air bag, tire pressure, and maintenance warning indicators illuminated. The hawkeye Ford dealer was contacted and diagnosed the failure as the output speed sensor. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 138,178.
