1 Gas Recirculation Valve (egr Valve) problem

Failure Date: 02/05/2019

Vehicle was driven short distance in town (less than 10 miles in 10-20 degree weather), no warning lights no overheating or smoke. 10 minutes after car was parked and shut off, car ignited in driveway in engine. Oil had never even been changed since bought used from dealer a few months prior; had put on less than 2000 miles since purchased. Total loss.

2 Gas Recirculation Valve (egr Valve) problem

Failure Date: 06/24/2017

The engine will not start when the temperature outside is high (105+ degrees). During the heat of the day, engine will not start (no clicking, no sounds, nothing). Radio comes on, air comes on, I am able to change gears, roll down windows, etc. There are no issues in the morning or evening when the day is cooler. The check engine light does come on only when I am having the issue. Once car eventually starts, the check engine light goes off.
