The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving 55 mph, he observed a loud rattling noise emanating from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was steered to the side of the road and inspected but the contact did not find anything visibly wrong. The vehicle was taken independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the flex plate needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
