Drivers seat rocks back and forth when accelerating or breaking. Research on the internet of other NHTSA reports show this from dealer reports to be a failure of the seat track with an estimated repair cost of $1100. Several 2009/2010 Edge reports on this site. Most unsettling report was --> "during an accident last year the drivers seat brokefrom it's track". Here is the $35 oem part that fails --> seat track 7t4z7866410fc. This happens enough where the part is routinely available on ebay.

The driver side seat is now rocking- forward when brakes are applied and backwards when gas is applied. The seat is no longer moving into all of the positions it is supposed to. This just started happening the last few days. It has not been taken to the dealer yet and online there are many complaints of the same issue- since the Edge was first made all models are incurring this. If the seats break then that could be disastrous.
