Delivery Fuel Pump Control/drive Module problems of the 2019 Ford Escape

The contact owned a 2019 Ford Escape the contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed the contact white smoke coming from the rear end of the driver side and contact noticed a smell coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was parked and the contacted noticed smoke coming the drivers rear side of the vehicle. No warning lights illuminated the fire was extinguished by petersburg station 2 fire department the cause of fire was undetermined and report was filed no injuries were sustained and no police report was filed. The vehicle was towed by the contacts insurance agency to investigate the vehicle. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
