While driving 70+ mph, I received numerous alarms about the brake system, collision avoidance, lane keeping etc. I immediately attempted to slow to pull over, but I had no brakes. The pedal went to the floor. I tried pumping the brakes and one of the rear brakes grabbed and locked up causing me to lose steering control as it jerked me into the next lane. I realized that applying and releasing the pedal rapidly was the only way I could reduce speed. However, every time I applied the pedal, the rear right brake would be the only caliper actually working. It locked the wheel causing the tire to skid with the most minimal input from my foot. I managed to get off onto the berm and skidded to a stop and the brake pedal traveled to the floor. I checked for brake fluid leaks and found the master cylinder was full, no leaks. Every system failed on this vehicle in an instant and almost caused a major collision. I was able to limp the vehicle off the road. It still locked only one rear caliper with every application of the brake pedal. It has only 10,000 miles and I purchased it new in December 2023. It has never been worked on besides an oil change. No modifications have been made. The picture attached is all of the warning lights on the dash. The vehicle is at the dealer for repairs. A complaint was made with Ford. Complaint # is, cxh02312443.
