There was no indication it was broken while driving the vehicle, so there is no way of knowing when it broke. The problem will be corrected by replacing the spring. No improved spring part number was available for Ford, so I expect it to break again in about 70k miles if I buy a new Ford spring.

When she purchased the vehicle, she thought it was the tires because they where not use to driving a SUV. The dealership said that they were not planning on doing a recall for this vehicle at this time because all of these vehicles are currently covered under warranty.
