The contact owns a 1997 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the vehicle would kick in and out of 4-wheel drive. While driving less than 55 mph, the steering wheel became stiff and the 4-wheel drive became inoperable. The 4-wheel drive warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel.
