2000 Ford f150 leaking around driver side windshield wiper area. Water leaks down inside firewall into a relay/control terminal and activates the ignition and security system. Normally this drains the battery and deactivates the ignition until the unit dries out. This only occurs during heavy rain.
I was driving through town and the truck shut off while I was going 35mph the steering locked up and I had to try to control the truck and get if off the road. The dealership wasn't open so I had to keep trying to start it over and over to eventually get it into the closest parking lot which was about 45 yards and it took 3 times of starting the truck, moving into traffic and the truck dying to where we eventually pushed it the rest of the way into the closest parking lot. Now the truck wont' start at all and we ( today ) had the truck trailered to Ford and they said that it is the anti-theft devise.
