1 Battery problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2011

My truck was parked on my driveway, and had not been driven in about 2wks. I didn't even think that the battery had a charge. My [kathy] wife and a salesman and I just happened to be standing a few feet away having a conversation, when we smelled wires burning. I quickly raised the hood of the truck to see the plug wires connected to the brake master cylcender smoking. At that time I of course disconnected it.

2 Battery problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2004

Parked the vehicle in garage at 6:30 pm. At 7:00 pm heard a loud popping noise from garage. Opened door and saw flames and smoke. The flames were coming from under the hood of the car. The fire appears to have come from the drivers side. Insured by allstate margaret daniells 281-618-5306. Pronet investigated the fire contact abby david 800-216-7268. Three months prior to the fire had gone to bank and the electical controls were going crazy and the brake lights stopped working. Had it towed to dealer who said they replace the battery. The consumer did not remeber using the cruise control and do not know if it worked. Fire spread to the house.
