Engine stalls out while driving. My truck stalled out on me 3 times on 10/21/15, and has happened a few times before but always on separate occasions. On the 21st, I was driving about 5-10 mph in a shopping center parking lot when my truck stalled for the first time that day. About 15-20 minutes later, my truck stalled two more times, once at about the same speed as before and once while I was switching lanes at about 40 mph. This also mean I had no power steering and almost got into 2 accidents because of the problem. After the problem occurs, an oil funnel light comes on and then I shift my truck manually into neutral and turn the key and my truck fires right back up without hesitation. I drove my truck straight to the dealership where I let them test and drive it for 2 days and they could not recreate the problem, the truck didn't throw any codes either and the dealership says its normal when the engine stalls for the oil funnel light to come on. I'm at a loss for what could be wrong with my truck and as to why this is happening. If my truck does this to me while driving on the freeway it could result in a huge accident.

Engine stalls at red lights no reason.
While breaking to make right hand turn engine stalled. First indication was truck was impossible to steer. I was able to stop truck in the middle of the intersection. At a higher speed this would have been deadly. Ford dealer claimed to have never heard of the problem even though an internet search shows thousands of such incidents, many of them reported to this agency. Dealer was unable to find a cause, although the manager said it was likely the throttle body but he could not replace a part under warranty unless it was positively known to be defective. I was sent on my way to risk my life in an unsafe vehicle.
The contact owned a 2010 Ford f150. The contact stated that the mass air flow sensor caused the engine to stall while driving 35 mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated they would have to replace the mass air flow sensor. The manufacturer was contacted who filed a complaint and offered no further assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.
Engine stalls at random speeds after braking or coming to a stop. Most recently while braking for a turn, right hand fork at about 35 mph, engine stalled losing power steering and power brakes. Very dangerous situation and common from what I have found on the internet. All 3 local Ford dealers act like they have never heard of the problem. I am sure that is what they have to say, because they do not know how to correct it, but this is a very serious situation. It is a 2010 "new" truck and I wont let my wife drive it with the kids because it is dangerous.
While driving the wrench warning light comes on, followed by the gas pedal not working and then the engine stall out. This all happens while the truck is in motion. This has happened at 30 mph, 60mph and while accelerating through an intersection. This is an extremely dangerous situation. I have taken it to Ford four times now and they "cant duplicate it" so it has not been repaired yet.
My wife was driving our 2010 Ford F-150. Gas tank 5/8 full. She was making a right turn onto a major state route when the vehicle suddenly stalled. She was able to re-start the vehicle, however when the engine stalled she lost all power steering and brakes. This caused the vehicle to veer into the oncoming lane of traffic. This is the second occurrence. The dealer had the vehicle for 18 days after the first occurrence, however they were unable to diagnose or fix the problem. We took possession of the vehicle again and it almost occurred once and then actually stalled a second time (described above). I have filed a previous complaint. The vehicle was again brought to the dealer and they were unable to fix the problem. Ford motor company did order the replacement of the vapor management system between the two occurrences. The part was returned to Ford by the dealer. I can not place my wife, children or I, not to mention the motoring public in further danger by driving this vehicle. We could have easily had a dangerous traffic crash when the vehicle suddenly ended up in oncoming traffic. Thank you.
My wife was driving a new 2010 Ford F-150 with five-thousand miles on it. She was making a right turn into a driveway leading to my daughter's day care center. While in the midst of the turn, the vehicle suddenly stalled. As a result of the engine stall, the vehicle lost all power, including power steering. A vehicle descending the hill from the daycare center had to swerve around my wife to avoid a collision. We brought the vehicle into the dealer, however after having the vehicle for 17 days they had a "porter" report one "hiccup" while driving the vehicle, however they reported no error codes were tripped. They were unable to diagnose the problem so were therefore unable to make any repairs. Needless to say, my wife no longer feels confidant in driving this vehicle as she is afraid it will suddenly stall for no apparent reason thereby endangering she and our children as well as other motorists and/or pedestrians.
