The vehicle was an independent dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 139,000. The contact indicated that the scanner indicated that the mileage was 239,000. A VIN clarity report was purchased, which also indicated that the mileage was 239,000.
Odometer fraud. The contact purchased a 2014 Ford F-150. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy as per the carfax report. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was approximately 115,000. Later, it was discovered that the mileage was approximately 200,000.
