Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated that after driving the vehicle for several hours, there was an abnormal exhaust odor in the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure was more evident in warmer climates after the vehicle was driven for more than an hour and a half. The mechanic was able to pinpoint a pinhole sized leak however, when the vehicle was taken to nick abraham elyria Ford located at 1115 e broad st, elyria, OH 44035, (440) 366-3673, the mechanic was unable to pinpoint a location for the possible exhaust leak. The contact was informed that no repairs would be made if the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted or informed of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 59,500. Ah.
