1) passenger side engine exhaust manifold leak, loud at cold start up, decreases as engine warms up. While driving a reduction of gas mileage of 2 miles per gallon have been observed, performance issues towing trailers. 2) parking brakes do not hold vehicle securely, in fact with brand new parking brakes fully set all the way to the floor one can easily drive away.
The exhaust manifolds have warped causing studs to break leading to an exhaust leak. This is a very common problem with these engines. It produces a squealing noise under acceleration.
Ford 3. 5 ecoboost warped exhaust manifolds, bolts cracks , and lost ,sound loud and power less.
When accelerating , there is a loud chirping noise coming from the engine. The exhaust manifolds have warped. Very annoying sound and loss of power. Seems to be a common problem among other owners of the 3. 5 eco boost. Very disappointing.
