Other Fuel System Tank Assembly problems of the 2015 Ford F-150

Code p1450- fuel tank is unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum, and this has nothing to do with the fuel pressure sensor at the engine. It is a defective fuel tank pressure. Due to this defect, the check engine light stays on and a piece now needs to be removed.

I purchased my 2015 f150 about a year ago. There is a TSB for a valve on the top of the gas tank. TSB states emission related with warranty covered. Ford stating it was built in canada so don't have to warranty in America. Vehicle cuts out after stopping and then accelerating. How can Ford sell a vehicle to be used in America with a known issue and not be liable? this is a safety concern. TSB 15-0171 engine code p2450. . Part number involved is same on canada or american vehicles.

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. When the engine was started, the contact proceeded to load the vehicle and noticed a strong fuel odor. The contact checked underneath the vehicle and found fuel on the ground. The vehicle was towed and the driver of the truck diagnosed that the fuel tank's plastic connector was unprotected, which caused the fuel tank plastic connector to fracture. The manufacturer was not notified. The vehicle was towed to an unknown dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 24,600.
