Tl- the contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 60 mph, when the oil pressure warning light was illuminated on the dash board. The contact stated the ignition turn off on the middle of the road, but he was able to park the vehicle on the side of the road. The contact stated he check the oil pressure and added oil to the vehicle. The contact restarted the vehicle and drove to his residence. Upon investigation the contact associates the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 17v672000 (engine). The vehicle was taken to local dealer don wood Ford Lincoln inc. Located at 2065 e state st, athens, OH 45701, (740) 593-6642, where they were unable to duplicate the failure. The contact stated he continued to experience the failure and now starting to see smoke exiting the left tail pipe. The manufacturer has been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 22,000.
