Transmission failure. Extended warranty denied claim to fix/replace. Engine rattle, thought was the heat shield, had repaired, still happening. Lafontaine Ford on s. Pennsylvania, lansing mi stated there is a problem with the engine but did not say what it was exactly. No warning lights appeared before transmission and rattle started. I live less than 5 miles from my work and on my way to work, it was making horrible noises and had to have it towed to the dealership. The truck was purchased from morrie Ford in okemos, mi but lafontaine was closer to have it towed. The problem with my truck is a known issue with the 10 speed engines and fails to repair/replace known issues. Several people have documented this same issue on youtube. Com and Ford continues or the warranty insurance the dealership sold me will cover it. My truck has less than 60,000 miles and only a 2019, which is considered low miles. I have maintained my truck pertaining to routine maintenence, new tires and a tonno cover. The back seats are never sat in as they are always folded up for my dogs. They want to charge me $16,000 for the repairs. Please help me!!!!.
