Front Suspension problems of the 2000 Ford F-250

Four problems related to front suspension have been reported for the 2000 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 01/30/2001

When turning left or right vehicle will shake. When pulling from a drop off or parking lot there was a loud humming noise. Then, it faded away. Driver also, when putting in gear, there was a clunck noise then a jerk.

2 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 10/09/2000

Vehicle vibrated uncontrollably at various speeds. Dealer has replaced driveshaft and tires, but vehicle continued to vibrate. Manufacturer has been notified.

3 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2000

Upon starting theres was loud popping noise in front end. Once in a while dash panel lights will not come on, and turn signals sometime don't work. Please provide any furhter information.

4 Front Suspension problem

While driving 30 mph and higher, steering wheel jerks out of consumers hands, causing a loss of vehicle control, consumer states that there is a problem with the front suspension, if a rough surface is hit, steering will jerk out of drivers hands, vehicle will bounce around sideways out of control, dealer installed shimmy shock to attempt to correct problem, consumer states it helps, however has not completely remedied problem.
