Five problems related to tire bubble have been reported for the 2000 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I had a flat so I had all tires changed and tecnician found a large bubble on the inside of left front tire which caused sidewall to be very weak. Firestone refused to honor warranty stating it was caused by road hazard. Not true. Tire defect. Would have caused major crash if left on front and failed at highway speed. Mr.
On 7/19/01 I found a bubble on the rear driver side tire. The bubble was approximately 8 long. When the tire was removed from the rim the bubble also extended inside the rim. On 7/21/01 I was looking at the other tires and found cracks forming on the side walls on the other three. These cracks are three quarters to one inch in length. To date 3 tires w/separation 2/3 around next to rim on inside-t wo w/bubbles about 4" outward. (dot number: ador ijd24 tiresize: lt23585r16).
Tire developed a bubble on the side and went down while I was driving. I was able to stop without an accident. (tiresize: p265-75-16)( dot number: tire size: p265-75-16 ).
The left front general grabber a. W. ( 235/85r/16/e) tire bulged out on the inside of the tire, the tire was replaced the next day, upon returning from a 2000 mile trip the other three tires had at least one bubble and some had two. Nlm.
