Tire Bead problems of the 2000 Ford F-250

Two problems related to tire bead have been reported for the 2000 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Tire Bead problem

Failure Date: 10/04/2000

With less than 10,000 miles on the truck, I have had two of the tires break beads, causing the tires to loose their air pressure. Neither time caused major damage to the tire, or to the vehicle, but they have proved to be unreliable, and possibly dangerous. I have heard that they are being looked at for recall, and based on my limited experiences, I would have to agree with the recommendation. I feel very aprehensive every time I get in my truck.
