Tl-the contact owns a 2002 Ford f250 equipped with nitto tires, tire line: dura grappler, tire size: lt 265/75/r16. The contact stated while driving 60 mph, the driver side rear tire blew out. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing where it was confirmed that the tire needed to be replaced. The tire was not replaced. The tire was a replacement tire. The manufacturer was not notified of failure. The approximate vehicle failure mileage was 89,000 and the tire failure mileage was 22,000. Tw.

2 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 06/04/2010

2002 Ford F-250, experienced a left front tire blowout that caused damage to the left front quarter panel. According to the police report, the tire was shredded and damaged. (ohio traffic crash report # 10-0366-90) updated 08/05/10.

3 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 03/21/2004

While driving 55 mph the rear passenger tire blew out without warning. As a result, the vehicle's frame was severely damaged. Please provide additional information.

4 Tire Blowout problem

While the consumer was traveling at 25 mph the tires blew out. Consumer contacted the dealer for replacement and dealer refused.
