One problem related to brake master cylinder has been reported for the 2004 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle is a 2004 Ford F-250 super duty I stepped on my brakes and heard a pop. The pedal went to the floor. When I got the vehicle stopped, and investigated, I found that one of the two bolts that mount the master cylinder had broken off. This left the master cylinder hanging by one bent bolt and the brakes were not functioning. Very scary. Low grade bolts? I am the original owner of the truck.
