One problem related to brake pedal and linkage has been reported for the 2004 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I work for security at a nuclear plant. We have two 2004 Ford, f250 pickups. I and several other people have had a problem with the brake pedal and accelerator pedal. We wear military style boots, if you move your foot from the accelerator to the brake and still have your foot partially over the accelerator your shoe will come in contact with the accelerator pedal before the brake pedal is depressed far enough to apply the brake. Myself and several other people have had a near miss because of the vehicle lunging forward before the brake engages.
