Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? no. I want you to make them include older year models in this recall. I purchased this vehicle from vic bailey Ford spartanburg SC, financed for 72 months to pay off Jan-1-26. Ford can sell it, and get financed, when still in the process of paying off, this truck should get the same considerations as newer ones when there is identical issues.

Driving down the highway and my truck started to violently shaking. I pulled over to see if tire blew. Tires where fine. Drove it another 5 miles and it did it again. Felt worse then having a blown tire until I stopped.

I have a 2008 Ford f250 with 60,000 miles I bought it used about 7 years ago I only drive it to pull my trailer camping also I don't drive it much hoping a engine light will come on my vehicle has unintended acceleration it happen when I come to a stop light and my vehicle will unexpectedly tug forward to 0 to 60 mpg I have to push on my brakes and turn off the key and turn back on sometimes 6 times before it goes back to normal I called the dealer to get answer where I live in California and they said they cant diagnose it unless it duplicates its self and they will charge me $200 plus if they cant find the problem I did research and found 4 vehicles the same year that had this problem and there is a recall on some of these vehicle with the same problem with the same motor and year same electronic gas pedal but they are the expedition and other makes anyways this problem has almost cause me to get in plenty accidents I had the gas pedal and electronic sensor replace throttle body and both sensors replace and still have the problem the Ford dealer are saying they never heard of this issue but I google unintended acceleration and see cars of all makes and model with this drive by wire electronic situation all I want is to get it fixed doing my research its a software issue in the computer.
2008 Ford lariat F-250. Consumer writes in regards to severe shaking of vehicle while driving.
When shifting the truck from park to drive the truck randomly went full throttle. This is not the first time this has happen. In another case it also has went full throttle when my foot was on the brake and shifting into park.
Recentlly I took my Ford f250 sd to have the tires cheked and rotated. They were unable. To allign my vechile due to uneven wear , vibration ,and seperation on belt edges. This to me was of great concern. The mileage on my Ford f250 is only 23,600 miles. My truck is a 2008 Ford f250 with the original tires ,continental has a recall alert on certain tires. The make and size are m+s lt 275/65 r18 123/120s. I feel that this is a safety hazard I took it to three tire shop and they all determened that this was a safety hazard and should be dealt with the manufactor of the tires. . . I would like to know is ther any thing you can do to replace or credit me on a new set of tires. . . . . . Sincerelly eddie romero.

When I bought my Ford f250 back in 2008 I have had constant problems with the truck as I would be going down the highway the truck would lose power and I would press the gas pedal and the truck would only do around 40mph. A few weeks ago I drove from chicago up to green bay WI and then back going there about half way the truck was ok the other half way up there and back the chicago the truck was not shifting it felt like it was towing a trailer when it was not my foot was on the floor all the way and I was only doing 40mph on a 60+mph highway which I had truckers almost coming in contact with my truck. My truck has been in the shop over a dozen times and Ford does not have a clue what is wrong with the truck because there computers show nothing wrong when there service tech drove the truck and said there is a problem with it but they our unsure. The last time my Ford dealer stated that it might be a cadalaic converter. I have contacted Ford motor company about this issue and they did not want to work with me on fixing the truck only offering 20% off of the cost to fix the cadalaic converter and they are not sure that this will fix the issues I have been having I am not the only person having this problem with my truck I talked to a few other Ford truck owners and they have the same problem.
While driving my 08 Ford f250 sd, I experience severe shimmy going over a bump in the road or small dip. More noticeable when going about 45 and I hit a bump and the wheel jerks and throws the truck what feels like feet. I have not replaced any parts yet nor have I spoken with the dealer. The first I ever knew there was a problem noted by Ford was when I received an alert on flmowner. Com and it stated field service action number: 09l02 fsa title: customer maintenance reminder vehicle shimmy and tire inflation pressure I always maintain proper tire pressure and have them balanced and rotated on a regular basis through discount tires (where I bought new tires in 2011). I don't have a lift and haven't altered any of the stock suspension parts. Mileage and time frame are an approx as I wasn't aware of this service issue prior to this week. Those are the approximates to when I moved to CO.
Driving along a rural road at 50 mph, truck began to shake, could barely hold it in the road. Had tires checked at crossroads Ford where truck was purchased just 5 months ago. Was told that continental had recalled called tires on 2008 f250 trucks but tires on this truck were not part of the recall. Contratrac p515 46u0 3207. Very dangerous to drive. Crossroads Ford offered to sell us more tires. Unsure what to do.
2008 f250 6,4 powerstroke 4x4 drive above 55 and hit rolling bump and the front end starts shaking violently steering wheel also shakes. I have had everything inspected and everything is tight as a vehicle with only 59,000 mile should be. The more I drive it the worse it gets its starting to just shake randomly without hitting a bump.
