Driving down the highway at 65 mph when I felt front end slightly vibrating, as if a tire was out of balance. I pulled into a truck stop to check things out, and noticed the left front aluminum rim had a tear in the metal, consequently ruining a practically new tire (on less than 1 month). Put the spare tire on, and took rim to both an independent tire dealer and a Ford dealer and both dealers agreed that the rim had not been subjected to hitting anything to cause the damage showing. Wrote to Ford about the problem seeking a resolution, but got no assistance from them to rectify the situation. Have been running on the steel spare ever since and still have the original tire and rim in storage.
