Three problems related to rear suspension have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving about 35 mph, going into a sharp right turn, the steering locked up, driver was able to regain control of truck and did not have a crash. Truck was towed to dealership. Dealer stated this was due to a bracket on the trailing arm breaking. Parts on national back ordered.
Rear suspension system too low to tow trailer.
The rear ends keep locking or binding up.
