One problem related to clutch broken has been reported for the 2001 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1) driving along at low speed and automatic transmission shifted from 1 to 2nd gear with large thump. Continued to drive and grinding sound occurred. Immediate drove in 1st gear to dealer 2) clutch assembly failure on auto transmisssion at 38000 3) Ford wants to replace with refab transmission.
