One problem related to engine failure has been reported for the 2002 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Engine began failing at 1200 miles and has gotten progressively worse. When the engine fails all power options are lost as well and has caused several close calls. Failure occurs without warning placing my life in danger. The Ford regional representative has refused to talk with me until they try to repair the truck again. I can't trust this truck and feel it should not be on the highway. The dealer has the truck for the third time and hope they will replace it rather than use me as their crash dummy.
