Engine Stall problems of the 2005 Ford F-350

Two problems related to engine stall have been reported for the 2005 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine Stall problem

Failure Date: 02/02/2015

Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Ford F-350. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The contact managed to coast to an emergency lane. The vehicle was restarted,however, the failure recurred multiple times on multiple occasions. The vehicle had not yet been taken to the dealer for a diagnosis. The manufacture was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000. Gb.

2 Engine Stall problem

Failure Date: 06/08/2006

: the contact stated the engine stalled suddenly without warning a total of four times. The vehicle was towed on each incident. The dealership replaced a module on the wiring harness and various other unknown parts, but the problem still persists. On one occasion while attempting to depress the brake, the pedal would not depress. After placing the vehicle in neutral, the brakes worked properly. Two months ago the shock on the passenger side fractured. A welding shop determined the problem was a bad weld joint.
