Air Bag Light On Problems of Ford F-350

Around 25,000 miles the front airbag light stayed on. It went off after driving a few miles. Then on a long trip is came on again and hasn't gone off---mileage is 33280. This truck has not been in a colision,wreck or anything. Its been babied since new. Light came on while driving. On the hiway. Seats might have been adjusted and moved several times. I have tried wiggiling wires under seat---no help. I know there has been airbag recall--my truck is a 2014,might have been made in 2013??? please help with the problem. Thank you.

Shortly after buying 2014 superduty f350 crew cab diesel used truck in June 2017, airbag lights started coming on and off. Was told they airbags not activate if we were in accident. Dealer who sold it to us did not offer any help, dealer near us could not locate problem since airbag lights went off and on could not locate issue, tried replacing driver side module, no luck. Months later dealer traced problem by removing steering wheel and airbag, and replacing the "sliding contact". We had to drive truck 5 months without the safety of aibags.

The contact owns a 2002 Ford F-350 sd. While driving between 60-70 mph on normal road conditions, the contact depressed the accelerator pedal and the vehicle vibrated violently. The air bag warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel and remained lit until the engine was turned off. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for repair. On two separate occasions, the vehicle was taken back to the authorized dealer for the identical failure, but with no resolutions. Recently, the vehicle turned onto two wheels after exhibiting the violent vibration. A police report was filed and the driver sustained minor injuries. The vehicle was towed and completely destroyed. The cause of failure has not been determined at this time. The failure mileage was 140,000 and the current mileage was unknown. 4/01/09 updated 04/06/09.

I reported air bag readiness light on dash was on to the dealer service department on 4/3/2001 and brought truck in to service on 4/4/2001 I was told that a sensor on the abs system was not working and that when the air bag light was on the air bag would not operate I was also informed that the truck had a recall and parts were not in stock I should bring it back in 3 days . My wife called Ford and they told her they mailed notices on March 8th 2001 about the recall they did not admit that their was a failure in the sensors!!! Ford shipped my truck to apple valley Ford and the vehicle was delivered on 3/12/2001 I took delivery on 3/13/2001 Ford motor company has put my life at risk knowing that their was a problem with my truck prior to my taking delivery and now knows that a sensor turns off my air bag at random please contact me at 612-670-0453 this is a life or death matter and it must be delt with today thankyou in advance michael g.
