I was driving and a rock hit my front windshield. While the rock didn’t penetrate my windshield, glass shards hit me in the face and covered my cab. Windshield aren’t supposed to send shards of glass into the cab. This could’ve caused a multi vehicle crash had I not been wearing glasses.

We started to have issues with our back up camera sporadically working, images appearing fuzzy and now the camera has gone completely blank - blue screen. We use this pickup truck to plow in the winter and the camera is important for that. Not having a working back up camera is a safety hazard under normal conditions as well. The issue is that Ford has a recall on "certain" 2019 F-350 trucks with back up camera issues which are the exact same issues that are happening with our back up camera. This can not be a coincidence. I have called the Ford recall line and spoke to a representative who told me he would document my issue and forward the call information on to his manager. He told me to report it to the NHTSA as well. This is absolutely the same issue and we are not happy that they won't do right by us and take care of this issue.

Rear view camera sporadically works. It will stop working while I am backing up. Ford has recalled some vins for the year, make and model of my vehicle. When I called the dealer thet told me even though the issue I described was what NHTSA was requiring a recall for, my VIN did not qualify. I have also ask my dealer many times to make the repair and they tell they do not have the part and can not repair it. Ford continues to lead the way with recalls and seems to not be worried about me accidentally hitting a car or pedestrian while backing up. Any help you can give me with this issue is much appreciated.

We own a 2012 Ford f350 and have had two bad incidents with the dreaded “death wobble” and are afraid to even drive it because the truck now seems unsafe as it feels unsturdy as if it is starting to wobble and I don't dare even taking it on the freeway. My daughter had told me that the truck began shaking violently on her while on the freeway and I didn't fully understand what she meant until it happened to me. I was traveling on the freeway in cruise control, going the speed limit of 80 mph. Suddenly the truck began to shake violently. The whole front end, the steering wheel, my arms, my body, etc. Were all shaking violently. I hit the brakes. I screamed and was terrified. I thought a tire had blown out or something and was sure I was going to wreck. Upon stopping, I just sat there for a moment in disbelief, trying to catch my breath. I am fortunate that no one hit me as I was halfway in the right lane of traffic. I got out expecting to see some kind of damage but saw none. I slowly drove to the first off ramp and gingerly drove home. Holding onto the steering wheel had left my arms feeling bruised and my mental being shaken. I was telling someone about what happened and he said "OH, that is called a "death wobble" and he told me that Ford super duty f250s and f350s were known to have this problem. I went home a went on google to educate myself about this "death wobble" and was so angry that Ford has done nothing to correct this problem or have a recall. I feel very lucky to not have caused or been in a serious accident. I look at this truck and am afraid to even drive it. I read that numerous drivers have reported frightening incidents of losing control of their trucks and that there have been serious accidents with injuries, and even deaths due to this defect on these Ford trucks. They should pay to correct whatever the problem is.

The truck has multiple leaks when it rains and water is getting inside of the truck through the back window, the sunroof and other places. Water recently go into the radio after a big rain storm and now the radio touch screen is not working. It’s making a crackling sound as if it’s going to start on fire. There was recall for this on other Fords but not this specific model but is having the same exact issue. Ford needs to cover this as this is safety hazard. Multiple owners of this specific model have complained and there’s been no resolve.
Death wobble after going over bridge at 70mph, had to stop on the highway.

I was driving off the ramp merging onto another interstate when my sunroof exploded. There was nothing above me or any cars in front or back of me. The cloth sunroof cover shows no damage. I take it to ted russell Ford in knoxville, TN and they deny my warranty. Stating something the size of a basketball hit my sunroof but the cloth barrier shows no sign of damage. I spoke with customer service and they refused to warranty the issue. This is a known issue with Ford and Lincoln and have thousands of complaints concerning this issue.

Window seal has been coming off around the bottom corners of the windshield. Condensation was bad over the winter months and inside needed to be wiped off before driving causing smudging and smears. I'm worried the window seal will not hold and completely come off while driving.
The trailer brake controller randomly says trailer disconnected and will not apply the trailer brakes, but you can manually operate the brakes from the controller and they work fine, I have replaced every thing on the trailer brakes,wires,7pin plug, and I keep getting the same fault randomly( trailer disconnected). Ford tells me the unit is fine, well it is not, I have pulled the trailer with a chevy and a Dodge and the brakes work as they should. It happens everything I use it and after doing a google search, seems there many others with the same problem.
The day after purchasing a new 2023 Ford F-350 on April 24,2023 from eau claire Ford, I noticed several areas when the rear seats were lifted that were void of carpeting. One of these areas, the center hole has exposed sheet metal with extremely sharp edges going into the floor pans. Eau claire Ford was notified of this on April 25th,2023 and Ford was notified on may 3rd, 2023 and a case was opened cas-42613123-f4n9k9. It has now been 11 months and Ford has done nothing to resolve this problem. The exposed sheet metal is extremely sharp and is dangerous when leaning into the rear area to retrieve items. A small child could easily loose a finger or get cut by this being exposed.
I own a 2011 Ford F-350 lariat dually truck and was driving down the highway at approximately 60 mph, when I hit a bump in the road and all of a sudden my truck started to shake violently. I didn't know what happened as this was the first time this has ever happened. I thought something happened with the rear wheels on my truck. I was shaken up, scared and had to stop on the side of a busy road to see what it was. I looked around the truck and didn't see anything and was unaware of the famous "death wobble" that are notorious on f-250 & F-350 Ford trucks. I then returned to the highway with my flashers on and drive, but at a lot slower speed because I was unsure of what caused the shake. I was able to make it home safely and I told my husband about it. He wanted to see if it would happen to him so he took it for a spin and it happened to him 3 times in a 5 mile trip. Therefore he came home and parked the truck. We took it to Ford and they advised that this issue is common. Having a vehicle with this unwanted feature is a concern as we purchased this truck to run a business and now it just sits. Please put yourself in others shoes. Imagine you are traveling 70 mph down the interstate with a loaded trailer and you hit a bump or change lanes and the death wobble starts to happen. Would the driver be able to prevent a horrific accident from happening or cause one by trying to slow to an acceptable speed and sometimes completely stopping just to get the uncontrollable shaking to stop. This could cause a very bad outcome for the driver and possibly other unsuspecting drivers that are unaware of the issue / situation. This is not the situation any driver wants to be in on any highway. Please consider doing a recall on all Ford F-350's trucks so that this issue can be corrected and give owners peace of mind. Imagine if your family was traveling and this happened. I ask you, how would you handle this situation?.

I have experienced the "death wobble" numerous times. I have spent thousands of dollars since owning the truck chasing whatever we thought might be the issue. Ball joints, steering damper, tie rods/end, track bar, stabilizer bar, tires, the list is long. Stops for a time then starts up again. Death wobble consists of speeds over 60 mph and hitting bump and wheels wobble uncontrollably. This causes immediately slowing down until the wobble stops, however it is a violent shake and can pull the truck. Vehicles behind have no notice at immediate deceleration. Has not happen in the rain thank goodness.
I received a letter in November of 2022 that my 2017 f350 had a recall on the drive shaft and would be available in the 1st quarter of 2023. After taking my truck 3 times to certified Ford repair shops for different reasons I asked about the availability of the recall part and they all treated me like it's not available and it's not a big deal. From March 2023 I started experiencing a vibration under the truck, which got worse daily. The truck pulls a gooseneck trailer and dumpster system which if the drive shaft breaks while driving will affect the safety of other motors or anyone in its path, the truck alone is 12000 lbs. I have called foord motor company and spoken to several representatives and supervisors, the last person I spoke to said the part had to break before they replace it. In April I took the truck to a dealer and it has been sitting at the shop waiting for parts, no one knows when it will be ready or giving me a straight answer. The constant vibration from the drive shaft also caused the differential to be damaged. I use my truck for business and the business is down because of it.
Traveling at 60-65 mile per hour on interstate freeway, hit a group of small potholes with left wheels. Truck shook as you would expect at first, then began to shake increasingly more violently in the front end. The shaking increased till the front end was bouncing up and down and shaking left to right. The steering wheel shook left and right. I took my foot off the accelerator and coasted to the shoulder and stopped. My passenger's and my safety were put at risk because the truck was difficult to control and slowing down did not bring the situation under control until we got down to about 20 mph. Fortunately we were in the right lane, so we had quick access to the shoulder. I don't know what component failed, but this behaved as if the steering were repeatedly over-correcting for what it saw as a potential spin-out in alternating direction. After the incident the front tires showed wear marks slightly up the sidewalls (about 1 inch) that suggested they had skidded sideways several times. All tires were properly inflated at the time: 61 pounds front, 80 pounds rear. There were no warning lamps or alerts before or after the incident. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the dealer. No police or insurance representatives were notified since there was not an accident or injuries.
Driving down the road, no vehicles nearby or trees along road, the panoramic sunroof exploded. It was slightly bowed out and then fell into the vehicle in pieces. Thankfully no passengers were in the back seat, or they would have been injured by the shattered glass.
High speed wobble in front end goes away of you slow down getting worse very scary, pulls steering wheel out of my grasp wife refusing to ride in the truck.
Suspension and or steering goes into a violent shaking and vibrating motion that will stop only when hitting the brakes and or significantly slowing down. Safety of the driver, passengers, and others around may be significantly injured if loss of control should occur. There are numerous complaints to the NHTSA, and lawsuits regarding this exact issue, known as the "death wobble". There are no warnings to when this may occur, and usually starts with a bump in the road. This vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

Encountered violent shaking of whole truck traveling on i95. Transitioned from a bridge to road surface and the whole vehicle began to violently shake - loosing all control of steering & braking. Released gas pedal and slowed to shoulder. Was informed later this is a known issue with all Ford superduty trucks with solid front axle.
I just bought this Ford 2022 f350 crew cab king ranch 4x4 with a diesel engine. The vehicle has 163 miles on it - purchased 9 days ago. I put 100 miles driving locally on roads not exceeding 45 mph. On Jan 29 I took it on the freeway for the 1st time, it started vibrating at 50 mph and as I accelerated to 65 mph, the vibration became more pronounced. At 70 mph I could no longer read the instruments because of the vibration. This is a brand new truck!. I see many others reporting similar behavior on the super duties - the "death wobble". I am a degreed mechanical design engineer retired from a major automotive company, I have seen many "causes" and "so called corrections", but seems no one really has a fix. As the vibration goes on, many components in the front end wear out prematurely, in my opinion, having experienced this problem with a brand new truck, I believe the engine was not mounted properly either by design or assembly. This is aggravated by heavy front ends with the large engines not adequately supported. I had a 2011 super duty that had the same problem and got worse over time. I tried to compensate for it by adding weight in the box. It slowed the progression of the worsening of the vibration but did not fix it. The manufacturer should be forced to recall and correct the root cause.
Someone broke into my truck by using a wrench of some sort on the door handle one week after buying it. Also stole the front Ford emblem.
The tailgate with no apparent reason or indication all of a sudden failed to latch. The latches on both sides of the tailgate would no longer engage the pin that holds the tail gate in place. There is no way to secure cargo or equipment is side the cargo bed as the tailgate will not hold the tailgate up and keep secured and closed. It appears that Ford will not cover the electronic tailgate door latches but just the electrical components that control the electronic release. The latching mechanism should also be replaced along with the electronic wiring. This is a safety concern because if I carrying any type of cargo. The cargo may leave the truck bed. In addition, if pulling a trailer or RV in which in my case. I have a RV trailer (5th wheel) . The tailgate may open while towing and cause damage to the truck and RV. I just so happened was towing my RV 5th wheel just prior to and before my initial experience in early January of 2023. I dropped the RV to it's intended spot/location, and attempted to close the tailgate. Then, discovered the tailgate would not secure closed to the tailgate latches. There is no way to adjust or self-fix or correct the. There is no other damage to the tailgate other than the tailgate latches failing to engage and secure the tailgate in its closed upright . Position.
Door locks freeze up in cold weather either parked or driving. Door locks can not be locked or unlocked and unable to open from inside or outside of vehicle. Door locks have been freezing up since purchase of vehicle.

Was driving on highway on December 10, 2020 and when entered bridge doing approximately 70 mph experienced extremely violent frontend shaking (death wobble). Had to pull to shoulder of highway and stop to reduce it. This occurred again during same trip under similar conditions. Thought something on frontend had broken, but all seemed to be alright upon visual inspection. Plan to take into Ford dealership on December 12 to have it inspected. Truck has 118,000 miles on it. This is a very dangerous situation as it occurs at higher speeds and could result in accident.
I am writing because I own a 2016 Ford F-350 that has had a clock spring contamination recall for months. The manufacturer has not developed a fix for this problem and I cannot use the vehicle for rental purposes because of this recall. This situation is coding me hundreds of dollars per week and needs to be resolved or they need to buy the vehicle back. Can you help?.

Today I was getting ready to blow some snow out of my driveway and had to move my truck. It's normally parked at a slight incline where putting it in park is usually sufficient and have never needed to use a parking brake. When I re-parked the truck, I had to put it in 4wd to get up in the driveway because we had a lot of wet slushy snow. So after I get it parked, I put it back in 2wd, put it in park, and turn off the ignition. I then got out of the truck and started over to the snow blower to get back to work. I suddenly started seeing the truck rolling backwards as if it was in neutral (which is was not). I was running towards the truck to try and jump in and stop it, and then it suddenly stopped on it's own. But I bet it rolled back a good 3 or 4 feet before it finally stopped. It actually set off the alarm system in the truck, which was no surprise rolling that far. I feel this is definitely a safety issue because if a small child was behind the truck, or even myself, it could have been disastrous.
Death wobble in 2011 Ford 350 super duty double cab long bed. 1st time happened oct 29th 2022 heading to gail TX. Construction on road and went down a bump and it started then. 2nd time & 3rd time (Nov. 2022) within a few minutes of each time, going down a road and hit bumps within a couple of miles of each other and did death wobble again. As I have a down syndrome daughter and a grandchild still in a back facing child seat, this death wobble is a definite safety issue in transporting them. I am currently waiting on a mechanic to look at it. Have not yet had time to take to Ford dealer in town closest to me.
When the truck is traveling at highway speeds and goes over an imperfection in the road surface like a bump, bridge expansion joint etc. . . The truck will vibrate violently and will not stop until the speed is reduced often times under 50 mph which can be dangerous on a highway. This has been happening for the past year and a half. I have tried brining it to multiple mechanics and have replaced a number of parts.
On a clear day, no rain while traveling on an interstate hwy at approx 70mph, I drove onto a bridge and my truck starting violently shaking , the complete front end was causing the truck to move from side to side and I could hardly hold onto the steering wheel! my wife was was so afraid we were going to roll over, as was I! finally after taking my foot off of the gas, at about 30 or 40 mph it stopped! I'm taking it to my dealership first thing in the morning! its not safe to drive, as I might not be so lucky next time it happens. I'm finished with Ford trucks that's for sure!!!!.
We have experienced “death wobble” several times with the Ford. Every time we get all the necessary parts replaced and they’ll last about 6 months and the death wobble will return. It’s highly dangerous as you lose control of the vehicle and it can walk into another lane with traffic. You are unable to steer when this is happening. The only way to regain control is to slow the vehicle down to around 35/40 mph. It’s a danger to us and to others on the road.

While driving on the two lane freeway at approximately 65mph in the right lane, a lane change to the left lane was initiated as a slower moving truck was in the right lane. Following the lane change to the left lane, the front left tire hit the pavement recess accommodating the yellow reflector embedded in the pavement, which was on the inside of the fog line. Upon impact with the reflector recess the vehicle front end and steering wheel began to shake violently. The steering wheel shook side-to-side so violently that it shook the drivers hands, arms, shoulders and head back and forth so quickly and violently that the drivers vision was impaired; the driver could see but all objects were blurred due to the shaking. Fortunately the left shoulder was paved and an area to the left of the shoulder was also paved (but not maintained perhaps a construction related turn around or cross over). Steering was severely impaired. With great difficulty the vehicle was steered off of the left lane onto the shoulder and then stopped on the additional paved area to the left of the paved shoulder. The violent vehicle and steering shaking subsided only following stopping the vehicle. Had this incident occurred in heavy traffic, on a two lane road or a road without shoulders the outcome may well have ended in loss of control of the vehicle. Ford acknowledges that its super duty 4x4 vehicle experience "death wobble"; a violent shaking of the front end and steering. This incident was a "death wobble" incident: initiated by a bump encountered by one front wheel, violent shaking of the steering and front end, loss of steering control, continued shaking until stopped. Ford has offered to repair, but there are no parts available. This vehicle defect must be considered for recall and immediate long term repair. The vehicle in this incident was a 2019 Ford f350 super duty with approximately 38,000 miles. Part wear is unlikely with such a low-mileage vehicle, as acknowledged by Ford.
The backup camera fails to function when truck is in reverse causing a back over danger to children it was specifically supposed to address.
