Scrapping noise heard after hard left or right turn. Found to have bad upper and lower ball joints. Ford dealership replaced the two lower and suggested that the uppers were showing signs of wear. Cost for replacement was $727. 00 (old parts are available)

The contact stated at 30,000 miles the front end shook, and the contact would have to slow down to 5 mph b to gain control. The vehicle was taken to the dealership, and they replaced the lower ball joint. At 78,000 miles, the front end started shaking after hitting a bump while driving 60-65 mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealership, but they could not find any apparent problems with the front end assembly.
