1 Suspension Torsion Bar problem of the 2000 Ford F-350

After taking vehicle to dealer for popin noise in front end while turning found out that the trailing arm bracket was broken in half. I was told by the dealership it was not covered by warsnty because I have a leveling kit on my truck. They refered me to a place to weld it together when I contacted them I was told that they have fixed many Ford trucks with the same problem some of the trucks had leveling kits some without. Then I contacted a different dealership and was told that they also were fixing numerous truck with the same problem and that Ford had made a new part that was stronger and that's how they were fixing the problem. I think Ford obviuosly has had a problem otherwise they would not have made a stronger part but they are using the leveling kit on my truck as an excuse not to fix the problem. I would like to know why so many trucks are having this problems but there isn't as recall to make Ford fix it.
