Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe Problems of Ford F-450

The contact owns a 2009 Ford F-450 sd diesel. The contact stated that exhaust fumes were being emitted into the vehicle. The contact mentioned that the vehicle was taken for repairs a total of thirty-five times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that two of the exhaust pipes were leaking, the exhaust manifold was fractured and suds were coming through the firewall into the cab. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 500 and the current mileage was 90,000.

Front pasenger compartment floorboard heats up to 160+ degrees when in hilly or mountanious area of driving. Pasenger unable to keep feet on floor board due to heat. F450 10 cyl gasoline engine motorhome. Ford dealer states "common complaint for this engine & vehichle" no remedy offered.

While traveling and depressing clutch, pedal would not depress. Consumer stopped vehicle by depressing brake pedal. Clutch plate breaks in same spot every time it breaks, this has happened four times, consumer has been told the motor is too strong for transmission which is causing clutch to tear up. Air conditioner failed, transmission missing one belt and was almost out. Exhaust loose. Wire harness dangling under vehicle, electrical repairs complete, however consumer did not specify what kind of repairs. 3 tires failed, 2 experienced tread separation, one tire general replaced, no size or dot number. Recall 01v046 regarding valve stems, consumer paid for replacement of valve stems, due to they had rotted.

When applying the brakes with a load on the truck, the front brakes locked up and the rear brakes are ineffective. Dealer has seen 3 times. Dealer adjusted brake proportioning valve to maximum setting and removed the factory installed toggle which partially alleviated the problem, consumer stated that Ford motor company would not cooperate. Also, front brakes prone to lock up when apply brakes on wet or soft footting under normal road conditions, consumer states that there is a cold start exhuast manifold leak.

Exhaust pipe is polluting strong gases and smoke. Vehicle only has 6000 miles will contact manufacturer.
