Two problems related to engine cooling system have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-550. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Water pump goes out every 18000 miles or two months at cost $250. 00 with 12k warrenty by Ford. Ford can not remedy exhaust leaks after 4 times.
Clutch burns out prematurally. The clutch has been replaced three times prior to this failure. Left high pressure fuel line hole rubbed from engine block/ water pump failure.
