This goes with incident 11500972 2015 Ford Fiesta se purchased 2. 8. 18 crest Ford in center line, mi right away, began having issues. Taken in to dealership 9. 18. 18. In 2019, I contacted them 3-4 times, asking when I could bring in for recall on ignition, which was warranty. On 3. 9. 20, took to costco, engine had no power, wouldn't go above certain speeds, felt like it would stall. Said needed new battery, which I purchased. Seemed ok when picked up, lights on dash off. Immediately came back on with same problems. Next day, on 3. 10. 20 again contacted the dealership, my complaint via email: "repair services: put in a new battery, immediately brought up submarine, wrench, check transmission now on screen. Was told it's under recall or an extended powertrain warranty. Also has 2 other official recalls on it would like fixed while it's there. " in addition, I told them it would not go above certain speeds, so shifting is broken, feels like it will stall out. Invoice from crest Ford: "customer states the wrench light is on, he feels like the vehicle will not shift past 3rd gear as well, a new battery was put in and after that the vehicle started to have more issues" and "corrected by tech: malcoim macdougall warranty installed ae8z 7z369 f?module - transmission cont qty: 1 warranty installed wpr?warranty part return qty: 1 warranty trans warning message on, wrench light on, ids ck found fault po606, replaced and reprogrammed tcm per 14m02, relearned adaptive memories 3 and road tested ok at this time" these are all items Ford Fiesta recall, replaced, repaired. Now broken again. They installed ae8z 7z369 f: module - transmission cont, installed wpr: warranty part return the issues are same as now: "trans warning message on, wrench light on" these issues were already repaired, and again, after a new battery was installed, needs expensive parts, dx, I don't have car to drive as it won't go above certain speed! local Ford pretending/lying saying there's no recall.

On Sunday December 4th 2022 my car battery died. I called aaa and they sent out a tow company to jump the battery. I noticed for about a month the car made a "ticking" noise. The noise would sound like a "sighing" when parking the vehicle. The passenger side door latch is broken and will no longer lock my door. My minor daughter used to sit up there but now because the door flys open she can no longer sit there. This is a serious safety hazard and needs to be recalled on Ford Fiesta 2016 as well.

Goes with incidents: 11501018, 11501025, 11500972 & 11500985 I am 100% disabled, but work occassionally via ssa ticket to work program, for amazon, using Ford Fiesta to deliver packages. 9. 11. 22 at 4:30am delivering package to 1455 lorraine dr. , waterford, mi, on north side of road. As I backed out of driveway, now facing east, and busy road, hiller rd. I had only just gotten in, no seatbelt on backing up. Switched from reverse to drive, foot still on brake, car took off, as if I'd stomped on accelerator, but my foot was on brake still. Hitting brakes, I flew almost to hiller rd. , brakes not working, car speeding, steering worked. Tried to slow down, was on south side of road, on people's lawns. Going so fast, I went into ditch, then came up out of ditch! narrowly avoided mailboxes. Last house before hiller rd. On my right, tried to slow down in large lot next door, didn't work. They have huge boulders along edge of grass, I not only slammed into a boulder, but they had chopped down trees too, laid them down along edge of grass with boulders. Car went up, against gravity, onto one of these trees, before hitting the boulder. If you can imagine, from hood to bumper, and further out each end, I was up, on top of a tree, the bumpers dug into it, so the 4 tires were loose on each side, front hit boulder. Hadn't put on seatbelt yet, my head slammed into steering wheel, airbags didn't deploy again, $400 cell phone screen split, cracked. I hit my head so hard, it knocked me out, I'm not sure how long, seconds to minutes. Came to, was on tree, tried to somehow dig car out, with flashlight and crowbar. Ended up calling amazon emergency, it was Sunday, too early, not there. Called geico, then 3 other tow CO. 's, after 2 hours lakeside towing came by, had to use winch and flatbed, had to chop up tree was on, pull back from boulder. Was stuck there for hours. Phone screen shattered, had to be replaced, pay $125 for a tow, hit head, bumpers, scratched, all b/c this Ford Fiesta.
I bought my 2016 Ford Fiesta in 2019 at 49k miles. Since I have had my car, my car battery would die randomly and my car would fail to detect my key. Recently, when my car hit about 98k miles, my car died again and I needed to buy another new battery. Once the battery was replaced, the “service transmission now” sign began to show on the dash. My car will refuse to accelerate past 35 mph and will slow down to 0 mph. Found this out the hard way, on the freeway. My mechanic said I need a transmission control module but the dealerships say the part I need is on back order. Another mechanic said the part itself is faulty and to not buy another tcm. These are the following codes that returned on my car: p0606-00, p0702-00, uo401-00, uo131-00, uo420-86, uo101-00, uo140-00, u3003-16, uo193-00, u3006-16, v0427-68, b1007-94, uo121-87, vo127-87, uo140-87, b1c45-24, p0606 as of right now, there is no recall, so my car isn’t covered under the warranty. My 2016 Ford Fiesta was manufactured in November 2015.
The transmission is slipping and jerking. I can't change gears without a issue and the car stops. The engine revs even when I am not going fast. The transmission says it is overheating and I got my fan fixed months ago and had done it before but seemed to repair itself so I thought.
Car won't go in reverse. Vehicle will only go 30 mph at times and cause safety issues.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that on several occasions while using the key fob to open the door, the horn erroneously activated and headlights began to flash off and on, and the vehicle could not immediately be started. The message “keyless entry not recognized” was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who diagnosed that the body control module was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 135,000.

My neighbor has been hacking my radio frequencies of my car and has now hacked into my car. He’s following me and controlling my car. I’m afraid he is obsessed with me and will cause my car to have an accident. The police will not and have not helped me and this guy lives right next door to me.

Fan stopped working out of no where causing car to over heat happened multiple times even after being replaced. Airbag lights say airbag on passenger side is off even when someone is in the seat this happens alot. Back driver side turn signal will not work and everything has been changed and looked at by several mechanics. When driving it sometimes does not want to shift wants to just stay at one rpm and jerk.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 mph at night, the low-beam headlamps failed to operate as needed. The contact mentioned that the high beam was needed to be able to see the roadway correctly. The dealer was not contacted. The contact was a mechanic and diagnosed that there was corrosion on the junction box that caused the failure of the headlamps. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 115,000.
Transmission malfunction, this is the 4th time that I am having to replace the transmission. I am taking the car back to dealership to get the transmission fixed for the 5th time. The car jerks when it comes to a stop. Hard time accelerating or does not accelerate. I put the car in r and it did not budge at all, even turned the car off and turned it back on same thing. This car should not be permitted on the road. Does not shift gears properly, the rpm run very high. I am afraid to drive this car constantly, even after I get it out of the shop because I just know that the transmission will eventually malfunction on me again. Very unsafe and unreliable to drive.
Goes with incidents: 11501018, 11500972 & 11500985 I am 100% disabled, but work occassionally via ssa ticket to work program, for amazon, using Ford Fiesta to deliver packages. 2. 1. 22 I bought 4 new tires from costco. 2. 3. 22 I was delivering in a rural area, about 3:30pm. It had snowed. I had delivered to a farm, drove back to main road, but on the way, stopped to look at and take photo from car of some cute horses wearing coats. No one around, road pretty flat. As I went to move forward, this is really bad, the road went up and it was angled, the car again, took off, as in my other report. Luckily I had my seatbelt on. I believe I had just shifted to drive, foot still on brake, and this car was like I had stomped down on the accelerator. Also luckily, I was not facing those horses! I couldn't believe it, car went flying up this road, brakes not working, I could steer, it was taking me right towards a busy road. My heart was pounding, going up this angled road, should have stopped the momentum, it did not. I turned the steering wheel, hard, to the right. Somehow as the tracks in the snow showed, the car did go to the right, but it kept going, across the road I was on, to the left side, into a ditch and a bale of hay! this was about 1 house from that main, busy road. With new tires. 1st a fedex driver saw what happened, asked about the tracks going to one side then the other. He tried to pull me out, but couldn't. Then a nice farmer and his gf stopped, he had a large 4-wheel drive, after an hour, even with shovels, we couldn't get out, he went back home, brought a 2nd truck, some ropes, they slowly dragged me out, away from hay stacks. They also noticed my basic s-curve, I couldn't stop, so I drove into the hay! this Ford did what it did before, took off with no pressure on the accelerator. It was stopped. I certainly didn't stomp down, I was braking and steering. I was stuck in freezing cold for 2+ hours. Then spent $325 on new brakes, rotors.
The contact's girlfriend owns a 2013 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the headlights were inoperable. Upon inspection, the contact noticed that there was corrosion on both headlight relays after opening the fuse box. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnosed with headlight relay corrosion. The headlight relays needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to file a complaint with NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 53,000.
Alarm is constantly going off which means I don't know if it's a real intruder or just the door ajar switch, recall affected up until 2015 but the issue keeps going into 2016 Ford Fiestas, this is a safety issue as we cannot tell if someone is breaking into the car.
The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle would not start, and the transmission warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 92,000.
As I was driving on the highway, my car lost power as if it wasn't in gear anymore. Fortunately, I was in a side lane and was able to coast to the side of the road safely; I doubt I would be as lucky if I was in a middle lane. That being said, the side of the road is still dangerous. Shifting the gear selector did nothing to give me power. I put the vehicle in park and turned it off. I waited a few seconds and tried to turn it back on. It wouldn't start. I tried several more times. I then waited a few minutes and tried to start it again, this time with the car starting. I was able to get to work and drive without any issues. After work, however, my car failed to start and had to be towed. There were zero warning lights or messages displayed during this event.
The contact owns a 2012 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that occasionally there was smoke coming from the engine compartment. The contact also stated that the vehicle would not restart. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with the battery needing to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure still occurred. The contact then towed the vehicle to another independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with nothing needing to be replaced. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.
It started with a loud thud sound while driving. It was as if something hit or fell on the car. Scary loud sounds from the car used to happen randomly at anytime. I had to stop the car, get out and check what fell or hit the car but every time I checked there was no mark or scratch or sign of something hitting. Sounds were so sudden and loud that someone could easily be shocked and lose control of the car. After such repeated incidents of loud thumping sounds I thought that it was the speakers (part of cars standard audio system) that was making the sound. I thought that the problem can be temporarily solved by turning off the audio system. But it was not so. Car kept making disturbing noises even with the audio system turned off. Over time it got worse and more frequent. It scares kids and other CO-passengers. Knowing how disturbingly and dangerously sudden these noises are I absolutely cannot lend my car to any family member or friend to drive on their own. They could lose control of the car harming themselves or others. Now it does long crackling, popping and thumping sounds even when the car itself is off ignition. I am holding the car keys, am outside the car, it makes crackling sounds on simply opening and shutting the doors of the car. . Read more...
Low beams don't work, replaced bulbs and didn't fix checked relay and it was corroded and one of the pins is now stuck in the box. It was stationary.
Alarm system going off for no reason. Battery drained and engine wouldn't start. I had battery tested at auto repair shop and it had burnt out cell inside battery. I purchased new battery last week. The automatic transmission is sluggish at times, feels like it hesitates to get into the next gear. Unknown reasons for cause of issues.
Interior lighting stopped working. Rear lights stopped working and then front lights stopped working. There is a known recall on this, but Ford states it doesn’t include my VIN. However, when you go to the recall it shows the exact same issue with corrosion in the fuse junction box. Bill estes Ford diagnosed it as corrosion of fuses in that box. Ford won’t work with me even though this is a known issue with 2011,2012,2013 Fiesta’s. I was almost rear ended not knowing my rear lights were not working in the dark.
My headlights keep going out and I keep changes the fuses. It lasts for about a month, then happens again. It's the fuse box. If canada can have a recall on this, because you need headlights to drive, it's a safety issue. Why can't the united states recall these cars and fix them. What's the difference. Canada cares more about there people's safety then the united states. Is that right. I was driving the car. It happened yesterday February 9, 2021.
I have a 2016 Ford Fiesta this model car does not come with a gas cap. I've noticed after I filled my car up with gas my car stutters and stalls out and sometimes doesn't start right away this goes away after 3 or 4 times is starting the car back up I took it to the dealership and they told me that my purge valve for the Ford Fiesta was defective I've already had this repaired and believe this repair has fixed the problem I've read of other people of the same year make and model having similar issues apparently because the has a capless gas tank this creates air pockets in the fuel tank which messes up the purge valve over time.
Trouble with dash lights, seat heaters, traction control check engine light and battery light all on. Fuse box completely corroded exactly as described in canadian recall of fuse boxes on 2011 Fiestas, I am in u. S. $1200 into attempting to solve problem, still will need to replace fuse box costing hundreds more.
Bought this car used 2013 on 12-01-2020 had less than 2 weeks and it completely shut down on my daughter driving to work, took to local dealer they said nothing they could find, but this is a very dangerous thing to happen for no reason the car just down thank goodness she was not on the highway! again, the dealer that sold us the car defends that they have checked it out but we are afraid going forward the next time she wont be so lucky we have no warranty and the dealer who sold us the car kept insisting we pay an extra 2000 for a warranty I feel maybe they know something is wrong or about to be for them to be so pushy again, she was driving to work and it just shut down lights started to flash and then a noise was made, the brakes worked still and the steering wheel worked but nothing else.
Several problems one the car vent system actuator failing to open vent making crackling noise, second problem water coolant container lines start leaking failing causing engine to burn up cheap plastic connections failing no water lines should at the container other than refill poor engineering need harder inspectors.
Driving down the road. . . Abs, brake, tsc lights kicked on and the car jerked to the right-hand side and slowed down about 10mph. . . As I kept going it lit up again and jerked hard. . . As I got speed to about 55mph did it a few more times before I finally shut the car off and had the dealership come get it. .
I notoice black smoke coming out from muffler and engine. The ac quite blowing cold air, and check engine light started flashing. Fire in the engine compart and where the ac lines in back fire wall on the back. Is where flames where notice.
The car has an issue with the pcm. It has a recall that was never fixed, but a code pops up regarding that issue when I self diagnose the car. Also, my transmission is acting up and a wrench light pops up saying "engine malfunction. Service now. " the transmission shudders too when accelerating and now the car drives slow constantly.
On the freeway car sputters when shifting and all dash lights flicker and car lozes power jerks like its gonna die out while driving on freeway on the freeway. While driving.
