2 Engine Rattling And Whining Sounds problem of the 2016 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 01/26/2020

When accelerating after stopping my 2016 Fiesta se shudders quite hard moving from 1st to 2nd gear and then also from 2nd to 3rd. I've noticed that the length of time the car shudders is increasing. The shudder is accompanied by a loud rattling sound like if you shook a bunch of screws in a metal container. Sometimes loss of power and high rpm's occur. I will take it back in and this will be the 4th time. The Ford dealership tells me that the shudder doesn't harm the transmission. I don 't believe that. Can't even sell the car (I tried) because this car's resale value is zero. Next I'm thinking of pursuing a lemon law resolution.

4 Engine Rattling And Whining Sounds problem of the 2012 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 04/15/2015

Since I bought this car in Dec 2012 I've had this problem, it's now 2015 still the problem is not fixed. So far this is my 3 recall letter I'm receiving for my vehicle. Recall 14m01, recall 12c26 and now recall 14m02. And through this website I found out there's a recall about airbags? while in low speed the car jerks, stalls, it makes a rattling noise, and sometimes when I park it turns off. I commute everyday to la so I'm stuck in traffic most of the time, so I'm the car shaking when it's time to merge. I've gone to Ford dealership 3 times already to try to get this fixed, but still no luck. It will be ok for the 1st day but it just goes back to the same shaky car. I don't know what else to do. Now I'm going back to with this 14m02 letter to try to get this problem hopefully fixed.

5 Engine Rattling And Whining Sounds problem of the 2013 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 03/19/2015

My check engine cluster came on the one with the wrench, I immediately took it in to the dealership the airport marina. I got there at 7:45 am I was met with agitation when I told him my check engine warning came on I needed to know what it meant. I also included could he fix the recall that came in the mail for the 14e08 he said that they werent doing the transmission recall for another 6 weeks. I told him I was unaware of transmission recall. Both of our attitudes changed his of quiet mine of quiet and shock. He let me leave without fixing any of the recalls gave me an oil change, failed to tell me of why my check engine light came on and never put it in my invoice. I called him back and asked him why he didn't fix, tell me or set me up with and appointment to get my recalls repaired? he tried to tell me other things I needed instead at a cost. I was upset but made a appointment and called customer relations. However after going online I got the real picture! when I first bought the car I returned it after two weeks because of the very thing on the internet, the shuddering, hesitation in moving forward and it didn't seem like the gas was getting to where it needed to go. So the car would jerk and poot and shake along with rattle noise. It also leaked in my drive way. I thought maybe someone parked in my stall after I went for work. Not the case. I took it in, they said it was normal, each and every time. They even said we will look at it and said it was a minor thing that they adjusted. I never saw it on paper so I thought they were treating me well and fixing things for free without a paper trial. And they were!! now that the check engine light came on and they reset it and did not do the recalls sent up red flags. That is considered my first denial of service on record, I foolishly let them get away with the others. Will take it to another Ford dealership.

6 Engine Rattling And Whining Sounds problem of the 2013 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 09/01/2014

I have had this vehicle for almost two years and after only 15000 miles my car has made a rattling noise. I noticed as of lately a jerking/stalling feeling as I accelerate. I was contacted by a law office notifying me of transmission issues of ratting/jerking/stalling/ and to file a lawsuit in order to have the transmission repaired for free or to get a completely new vehicle. I have almost stalled out in the middle of an intersection with oncoming traffic in all directions. This is not safe.

7 Engine Rattling And Whining Sounds problem of the 2012 Ford Fiesta

Failure Date: 09/28/2012

I purchased my "new" vehicle in August 2012 and very soon there after I heard a rattling noise in the front of the car. The dealership made a date for me to bring the car in. They stated that they were not able to hear the noise but that Ford was aware of the problem because other people have had the problem. Close to my second oil change date I brought my vehicle in and asked if they would again try to hear the noise because it drives me crazy. They again stated that they did not hear the noise and that Ford is aware there is a problem. On my 10,000 check up I again asked that the service person check out the noise well apparently by this time Ford had figured out that there was a shield in the transmission that needs to be sealed. On may 16th I was told the part would be at the service station in a couple of days. Today is the 30th no call and no part and now I am told the end of June. I am moving out of state and need to drive my rattling broken down transmission 2,000 miles in my what was supposed to be a brand new car. August will be a year. It is not fair I still pay my loan for my broken down piece of junk.
