My car just died on me. No warning or anything. Took the dealership 2 and half weeks to fix my car. They came to the conclusion that it was my trans harness cable. Cost $820. 00 to fix.

Car loses power and shudders when driving. I have pulled out into the road multiple times and had the car slow when acceleration pedal was pushed because the transmission wasn't engaging properly. We have also had a message appear on long road trips that says pull over and wait 5 minutes for transmission to cool as car begins to downshift at highway speed!!! this has been an ongoing problem. We have been told repeatedly , well that's just how the Ford transmission was designed by mechanics. I have been waiting for a transmission appointment with my local Ford dealer since the end of may. The appointment was sept. 11th. The service agent just called me to inform me the problem is the clutch and pressure plate which needs to be replaced. The car has 104, 000 miles on it. Ford is not willing to do anything to make this safety issue right. I have called them and they say my VIN is not included in their database. Please help me correct this before my family is in a wreck.

I have that bad transmission in my Fiesta and the car won’t work. Ford said it’s not 2019 Fiesta with the issue but it’s a lie. My car won’t drive now.

Intermittent door lock recycling.

My vehicle was serviced by elk grove Ford service dept only 250 miles ago and the vehicle is back in for more service. Time before did the same thing said the problem was this and when they repaired they called and said this is now wrong, I keep asking why no answer. Now the vehicle had to be taken in and I believe because I have put in complaints before that they are f with me and messing with me I told them elk grove Ford randy bapatista that the engine light came on and the wrench light on the engine came on, they called me and told me around March 30th that it needed this and that, they came back now and said the power train control moduel is needed and they cant find any part for it I found a part the advisor said the parts person looked half a day I dont believe them as see that the pcm can maybe reset they have not said to me if they tried reseting the pcm and I would like the part number. I feel I am being set up for more charges as if they would have check the wrench lamp I would not have two charges, they keep repairing items that I believe did not need to be replacement as the plugs were working find.

Incident= on February 15, 2023 while vehicle is in drive, upon stopping going up a slight hill, the vehicle started rolling backwards. I did not do anything except slow down/stop. It failed to engage in any gear after it started sliding back, including reverse to try to get me out of traffic ( the gear shifter was just sliding without resistance) except park for almost 15 minutes. My mother and my dog were in the car with me at this time. We were also in the left lane of traffic/ during moderate traffic. The car is an automatic. The vehicle finally engaged in low gear and I was able to drive 10mph to get home. Mechanic, the next morning, stated that my transmission is slipping/not engaging properly. He also advised against driving. And, gave me a really long list of diagnostic codes pertaining to my transmission. My check engine light is also on, now. My check engine light has been going on and off for a few weeks because my catalytic converter is starting to go out, but was off until this incident. I do have the list of diagnostic codes from the mechanic. My vehicle is not driveable because I can't guarantee that it will get me from point a to point b without slipping out of gear again and putting my life and other drivers on the road in harm's way.

2012 Ford Fiesta check engine light on codes reading O2 sensors, catalytic intake, misfires, fuel injection, etc. I have had my Fiesta at 3 mechanics all very known for there reliability all diagnosing it different issue recommending me to go to dealership which I was turned away because the recalls for the vehicle isn’t an issue for any of the possible diagnostics. Single mother of 3 now no vehicle, no money and no way of providing without transportation. Less than 150,000 miles owned less than two years and the amount of money put into the vehicle Ford should be ashamed. Shuddering and accelerating issue was told clutch and transmission issue but no help or actual known diagnosis since Ford won’t diagnose the suspected diagnosis from any of the mechanics I have taken the vehicle to and they can’t for sure diagnose it until Ford confirms the diagnosis since this is a known issue. They also sent me two recalls but refused to fix the recalls because I wasn’t 100% sure my vehicle needed the repair and threatened to charge me 150 diagnostic charge for the recall after I already poured my heart out to them about the issue I can’t seem to even get repaired due to there lack of care care as a manufacturer.

My car has been under recall now for the transmission or chip in the transmission. The car keeps jerking, stalls randomly and sometimes won't work. It's been confirmed by the palatka FL Ford dealership. I originally took it to the Ford in ocala FL, but they keep refusing to fix it. Now the palatka one is saying they can't because they don't have a chip. They're refusing to buy it back or work with me on it. I am the original owner, bought it strait off the lot and it was made in 2015. It's only 8 years old, but I've stalled now multiple times on the highway, in traffic on the way to work, and at gas stations. I want this fixed ASAP, according to the laws they have to work with me on this. I just don't know how to get them to work with me.

Rearview camera disconnects and shows either a blank image or a garbled image. Same as other 2019 Ford Fiesta recalled back cameras. My vehicle's VIN number has not been included in the original recall.

On Sunday December 4th 2022 my car battery died. I called aaa and they sent out a tow company to jump the battery. I noticed for about a month the car made a "ticking" noise. The noise would sound like a "sighing" when parking the vehicle. The passenger side door latch is broken and will no longer lock my door. My minor daughter used to sit up there but now because the door flys open she can no longer sit there. This is a serious safety hazard and needs to be recalled on Ford Fiesta 2016 as well.

Transmision suddenly started making a grinding noise.

Complaint - request Ford dealer to honor recall -to add me on waiting list airport Ford service personal not helpful and abrupt tcm transmission recall 14m02 2013 Fiesta it has 57000 miles.

On 4 Nov 22 the engine started shifting abruptly when accelerating - automatic transmission. Vehicle would not reverse while in r on the handle. Check engine light icon appears on dash panel. Unable to go beyond low speeds on road, causing safety hazard.

In September 2022 we are visiting my son it’s his first year off to college. . We were pulling out of the parking lot of my sons dorm. We turned the car on and started to drive, all of sudden the car stopped moving it would not move forward or backwards. . It was the transmission, we have order the parts but they have been on back order. It’s Dec. 30 we have been without a car and parts. Almost 4 months we have been dealing with this. .

Car stopped shifting in middle of highway. My safety was put at risk as it stopped moving on a busy road. Had to have towed to nearest shop, was told dual clutch system failed. Warning was “transmission malfunction service now”. Vehicle is available for inspection, Ford refuses to compensate for faulty parts. Plenty of recalls for other models with same parts. Known issue for this model of vehicle per company and recalls from 3 years ago.

At intersection making a turn when vehicle wouldn't move forward. Transmission stoped working. Dangerous vehicle position. Signal light changed. Several cars honked horn and had to go around. Car was in gear (drive). After several minutes shifting into drive and reverse and back into drive I was able to complete turn and pull over to side of road.

The door is not closing or locking I want to open the door and get groceries down and then when I went to close it it wouldn’t close the latch on it is not working.

The transmission is slipping and jerking. I can't change gears without a issue and the car stops. The engine revs even when I am not going fast. The transmission says it is overheating and I got my fan fixed months ago and had done it before but seemed to repair itself so I thought.

On 7/5/22 my Fiesta came to a dead stop while I was driving. It was towed to our local garage and tested for a faulty transmission control module. After waiting over a year for the part haldeman Ford in kutztown , PA claims the transmission control module is not testing as faulty.

This car literally almost got me killed when it suddenly began jerking like I was hitting the brakes while driving or like suddenly downshifting into first if it was a standard which it isn’t. All the dash lights flickered and the gages went up and down right before this happened. It jerks, stalls, lurches and I have literally just parked it and don’t drive it because my children were inside the car when it began doing this on the highway and stalled causing us to almost be hit by a semi when this happened. I had it towed home out of fear of attempting to drive it. You can’t even drive it a few blocks before it begins lurching and jerking. It feels like something to do with the transmission and the traction control light is now on as well.

As I'm driving the car will stop if I get it to go again it won't pick up speed, it will rev up but not go, I was told that it has all the original parts that was until I had someone look at it for the problem stated since then it has new spark plugs new front brakes, break's in back have been rotated new tires, I'm still paying a car note on this car I've had to pay towing fees and still the problem persist I'm scared to put my boys in this car but it's our only form of transportation the dealer that sold me this car is horrible and Ford was of no help, still trying to find the main issue.

Clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder failure. Both leaked, clutch pedal ceased functioning while driving, leaving the car inoperable.

My neighbor has been hacking my radio frequencies of my car and has now hacked into my car. He’s following me and controlling my car. I’m afraid he is obsessed with me and will cause my car to have an accident. The police will not and have not helped me and this guy lives right next door to me.

Door latches keep breaking. I have already paid to fix 2 now a 3rd one is broke. There was a recall for the door latches on the same year, make, model but my VIN number was not included.

Dealer replaced a faulty tcm, after receiving the vehicle back it still doesn't shift correctly or seem to acknowledge input from the gas pedal. Will occasionally shift into neutral before going into the correct gear. At 45 mph the rpm was 5000.

I spent $2400 on this car to have the dual clutch is replaced in the transmission it was supposed to be under warranty. The dealership charged me for it. The transmission on this car gets stuck causes it to go in reverse and blocks it heats up and is undrivable. It has been parked on the side of my house for one year now I have been in a rental car which Ford told me to get and they would refund me back up to $45 a day. I am out $8000 in rental fees. They claim that the transmission control module is recalled for this car.

Since early Friday morning on 11/5/21, my Ford Fiesta has been having an intermittent involuntary braking issue associated with all of the lights flickering on/off and the gauges swiping back/forth on the cluster/dashboard while driving. I also noticed the “hill assist control” alert pops up on the radio monitor with the involuntary braking. As well as the sound of the door being open with the key in the ignition will come on while the involuntary braking occurs. Additionally, the windows were resisting being rolled up while driving but will roll up when in park. I also noticed this braking problem tends to reoccur with accelerating quickly or making a turn. On Friday afternoon on 11/5/21, I had cautiously drove with my hazards on, while the intermittent involuntary braking problem continued to persist, to my local autonation Ford to ask about a safety recall associated with this involuntary braking problem and they told me there was no safety recall associated with this problem at this time. They told me that I would need to pay $1100 to replace and reprogram my cluster/dashboard computer. This is unacceptable given the inherent safety risks associated with this intermittent and involuntary braking problem. I believe I should be able to replace and reprogram my cluster/dashboard computer for free due to the safety risks. Thank you for reviewing and considering my proposal of my safety issue.

Alarm is constantly going off which means I don't know if it's a real intruder or just the door ajar switch, recall affected up until 2015 but the issue keeps going into 2016 Ford Fiestas, this is a safety issue as we cannot tell if someone is breaking into the car.

Started and moved the gear lever from "p" mode to "d" mode to move the vehicle forward. But couldn't move the vehicle. So tried to changed the gear mode and move but couldn't do. Then switched off the engine and tried to switch on. But couldn't do it. Tried several times and started the vehicle but couldn't move the vehicle, because the gear lever moved only physically. The "check engine" light was lit all the time on the dash board. We had to tow the vehicle to the dealership since we couldn't drive the vehicle.

Hello. While traveling in the right lane on the interstate (I-43) in milwaukee, wisconsin, heading southbound with a semi-truck in the center lane, the rear of my vehicle seemed to lift/rise off the ground and move (as if the rear of my auto was floating) to the right. I was at the point of being between at the semi-trucks front right tire and his bumper. I was involved in an accident with said semi-truck, thinking he was changing lanes from center lane to right lane and bumped my left-rear-quarter-panel. After much though and calming down, it seems as if my auto was pushed or lifted in a hydro plane effect by the air between my auto and the semi-truck. The day was clear and dry out around 10:45 am, on July 15th. 2021. My question how many of these Ford Fiesta cars (with manual transmission) have had some type of highway collision with a semi-truck? or, an unexplained loss (effect) of control while driving on the interstate. Yes, a rear kind of hydro-plane affect with air pressure. Did I really have this happen to me while driving this car, I believe so.

My 2011 Ford Fiesta shudders, has sudden or delayed acceleration,delays in downshift, difficulty stopping/braking,it hesitates when changing gears. Also has harsh engagement. I purchased from a private owner in 2021. I have contacted Ford motor company headquarters. I have taken it to my local Ford dealership,told them what it does, they would not drive it so they could see what it does and how dangerous it can be at times. All they said was "OH it's the tcm and we got them back ordered for 6 mths" but if I want to pay for and order the part and just leave my car setting at the Ford dealership until the part comes in I can do that. Then pay god only knows how much for them to put the part on. This is the only vehicle I have right now. I told them that. They said "OH we can't give ya no loaner car for that long. And the longer you drive it like that the more it's gonna tear up other parts of your car. And the Ford motor company said OH you missed the deadline for the buy back program or any compensation for your cari Ford has failed to meet the standards required by the federal motor safety commission and yhey refuse to acknowledge me or help me in any way. All the other 2011 Ford Fiesta cars with the dual shift clutch transmission were fixed or bought back or the owners were compensated. I am in the same unsafe predicament as those consumers were. I'm not asking for a brand new vehicle or thousands of dollars. I just want my car fixed and something to drive to work and to the grocery store while they fix it. Or another car of equal value to what my car is supposed to be. Thank you in advance for anything you can help me with.

Front door on passenger side will not latch,. Mechanically or electrically. To repeat, the door will not latch and swings freely. This occurred after parking the vehicle and attempting to lock all the doors.

When entering the drivers side of my car I went to close the door and the door was not latching. This is the second time that this has happened and when I called Ford chino hills. They proceeded to tell me they were not fixing any recalls for at least 3 weeks and that was just to get looked at, and then they said that it could take another 2 weeks to get the part. They did not offer a rental or anything and it put me out of a car because how am I supposed to drive a car when the door doesn’t close. Like I said the first time this happened I had to leave my car with them over night and once again was left with no car.

Rear driver side door not latching and does not lock and stay closed.

Purchased used on March 2021 dealership somehow made it drive perfect until I drove it for 2 days. Then noticed engine shifting issues, loss of transmission engagement while driving, no-start, or a lack of power. Idles very rough in parked position- spitting and sputtering. Vehicle stalling, losing power while driving, rpms at 4 while on highway @ 65-70 mph as if it never changed out of 2nd or 3rd gear. Called Ford and had the tcm updated April 2021 at gabriel Ford dealership,livingston texas. The update did not help and I was told that I needed to ?drive it like I stole it? but that makes the power-train issues worse. Ford dealership pointed me to NHTSA to write a complaint. As of may 15, 2021 it doesn't matter if its on highway, local in town, low mph or 65 mph the transmission continues to jerk, lose power, sputter, after updating the check engine warning light never came on when transmission issues happened. Vehicle jerking. After driving about 20 miles with rpms at 4 stopping at a light then trying to accelerate the vehicle sputtered and would not gain acceleration, very slow to gain acceleration. Loss of acceleration power will cut out & car will buck & sputter, also makes a grinding or noise then stopped. It's almost caused accidents with my children in the car!. Rpm revs up really high but the speed doesn?t change. At a red light my car began acting funny when the light turned green the car was hesitant to go it was having trouble shifting and accelerating the check engine light never came on. This vehicle power train transmission is faulty and very dangerous. Highway or street driving, in traffic, presenting a dangerous driving hazard. Current mileage @144,000.
