I have this car since 2019 with 8000 miles and this is the 3rd time the code came up for the evap system to be repaired. P0456. The first time it was replaced was at mileage 47084 at winner Ford dealership. On June 11th 2021. The second time it was replaced was at winter Ford dealership on March 17th 2022 with mileage 59,678. The light just came on today and the code came up again. Po456. I now have 102,000 mi on my car. I think that this should be a recall worth looking into. Thank you.

The brakes stick and then when I hit the gas its sluggish and just takes off full force. Causing 50% gas loss. The breaks are getting stuck. Calipers sticking. This is a fire hazard.

Car accelerates shifting weirdly, airbag light came on after a few days of signing the lease. I believe this is something that needs to be checked out. The rpm jumps up and down while idling. I feel like this car is very new and shouldn’t have engine problems. Has been routinely maintained.

Transmission control module for a 2015 Ford Fiesta is admitted by Ford as faulty, and a known issue. This part has had to be replaced several times, and there's no guarantee on durability or that there won't be future issues. Ford has admitted safety issues include loss of transmission engagement while driving, lack of power and slow or delayed shifting, no start, shuddering, stalling, slipping, ect.

Continued issues with the fuel delivery system (fuel pump?) vehicle has stalled out on the highway at high speeds, failed to start, running rough at various time and does not respond to accelerator.

For as long as I've had my car - 2017 till now - it's had what I term a "hiccup" after receiving gas. The engine would slightly shudder for the first 5-10 minutes after I filled the car with gas. This was not from overfilling the tank as I never max out the tank. I didn't think much about this until a few months ago. A few minutes after filling my car with gas, the engine shuddered severely and the rpm dropped to zero. This caused the engine to die and left me unable to exit from the turn lane. No warning lights appeared on my dash. I turned on the hazard lights and rolled down the window, but eventually all the lights inside the car died. I was stuck in a left turn lane, unable to move. I had to stick my hand out the window to direct other cars to drive around me. I requested a tow via my car insurance company and the drive arrived within ~15 minutes. The tow truck driver was able to restart my car and we towed it to the local Ford service center. I explained the issue to the service department, but they were unable to replicate the issue and thus did not resolve it. Since then, the same issues has occurred every time I refill the gas tank. Regardless of how much gas is added or how full the tank was after receiving gas. After adding gas, I have begun immediately parking at the gas station to wait out the engine shudders. They do stop after ~10 minutes, but during that time they have caused the engine to die again. In the past weeks, I've also begun to observe a minor engine shudder even when stopped at a red light. I have never observed a warning light. Online research has shown a number of other people experiencing this issue. It seems the likely cause is a faulty fuel vapor purge valve. This valve may be allowing liquid fuel to flow to the engine, causing the engine to shudder and die. I was in michigan and my car, which had been in great shape, unexpectedly failed to start after sitting for two days. After jump-starting the battery, the maintenance light turned on and my display showed a transmission malfunction. So while I traveled in my car to columbus, unaware of the potential danger that my car could catch fire and explode because it couldn't shift beyond third gear, I stopped at autozone for an inspection where the man informed me about a specific error code called p0606. The car dealership, holmes motors, was well aware of the issues with my car because we had informed them about another defective Ford Fiesta they had in stock. However, they made a deliberate decision not to reveal any of this important information to me or my family. I’ve been had problems when my car failed to start after refueling last year. One of the two main issues I've encountered with them. Firstly, they advised me that they had repaired my vehicle; that was not the case. Secondly, they never upheld the warranty and argued that my recurring issue was not eligible for coverage, after they just worked on it. The other Ford Fiesta that we saw coincidentally ended up being my ex-roommate's car, and it still had the same problems. At aacmo in columbus, they confirmed that my dual clutch assembly transmission had malfunctioned and overwhelmed my tcm. This exact same incident was also mentioned in the lawsuit filed against Ford, and from numerous people who faced the same issue. I’m stuck in ohio with insufficient funds for repairs or a replacement, which means I have no way home and zero source of income to sustain myself. It sucks that the entire burden of repairs falls on us while these companies neglect to accept any accountability for their faults. Has not been brought to the manufacture yet. Lost all power to vehicle at freeway speed. Ford dealer indicated fuel pump failure. My vehicle missed existing recall (14s30) for this exact issue by 11 days.

1 year ago I spent over $1,000 fixing everything on this car, no one offered any info. About recalls. At 21,000-23,000 miles only. I noticed some odd shuddering at low speeds. Like shaking, but only going slower. Then it did other things, seemed like maybe it was when parking or backing up. Car would switch to neutral. On its own. Another: the car kept starting. I have a remote starter, I removed rs, still doing it. I'll find car running by itself. With no key in the ignition. I have 2 year old battery from costco, under warranty. Last week, coming home, car lost all power, nearby, able to glide into garage. Spent days checking, terminals, fuses, everything. Battery should be 12. 5 amps, it was 3. 5 amps. So could not be jump-started. Had towed to costco, then midas. $1,100 later got ride to pick up, start car, dashboard now has orange wrench, said: "transmission malfunction! service now!" Sunday, midas closed, no choice but drive home, 10 miles. Dad drove me, stopped to eat, when came out after 2 hours, the car was running! in the parking lot, all by itself! the key wasn't in the ignition! key was in my purse way inside restaurant. It was scary. Then shifting was messed up, on small hill, kick back, forth, not enough power. Don't drive stick shifts/manuals, but each gear was struggling. Also shaking, thought would stall. In 2019, I contacted them 3-4 times, asking when I could bring in for recall on ignition, which was warranty. On 3. 9. 20, took to costco, engine had no power, wouldn't go above certain speeds, felt like it would stall. Said needed new battery, which I purchased. Seemed ok when picked up, lights on dash off. Immediately came back on with same problems. Next day, on 3. 10. 20 again contacted the dealership, my complaint via email: "repair services: put in a new battery, immediately brought up submarine, wrench, check transmission now on screen. Was told it's under recall or an extended powertrain warranty. Also has 2 other official recalls on it would like fixed while it's there. " in addition, I told them it would not go above certain speeds, so shifting is broken, feels like it will stall out. Invoice from crest Ford: "customer states the wrench light is on, he feels like the vehicle will not shift past 3rd gear as well, a new battery was put in and after that the vehicle started to have more issues" and "corrected by tech: malcoim macdougall warranty installed ae8z 7z369 f?module - transmission cont qty: 1 warranty installed wpr?warranty part return qty: 1 warranty trans warning message on, wrench light on, ids ck found fault po606, replaced and reprogrammed tcm per 14m02, relearned adaptive memories 3 and road tested ok at this time" these are all items Ford Fiesta recall, replaced, repaired. Now broken again. They installed ae8z 7z369 f: module - transmission cont, installed wpr: warranty part return the issues are same as now: "trans warning message on, wrench light on" these issues were already repaired, and again, after a new battery was installed, needs expensive parts, dx, I don't have car to drive as it won't go above certain speed! local Ford pretending/lying saying there's no recall.

I just got the car in June 1st. 2022 it's broken down 5x stopped in middle of us. 19 north 2x it won't keep oil it's leaking out running hot blowed the hose loose 1x last week,it started weeks ago refused to start up and shutting down now, shuddering, it's at machanic shop now in largo, florida he stated the car is not usable and unsafe to drive any longer the motor as well is gone and white smoke is coming from the muffler. This week will be 3 I have fixed alot of things on the car in little time I can't afford to replace something that was damaged already my first to be car and it's been a bad experience. As I'm driving the car will stop if I get it to go again it won't pick up speed, it will rev up but not go, I was told that it has all the original parts that was until I had someone look at it for the problem stated since then it has new spark plugs new front brakes, break's in back have been rotated new tires, I'm still paying a car note on this car I've had to pay towing fees and still the problem persist I'm scared to put my boys in this car but it's our only form of transportation the dealer that sold me this car is horrible and Ford was of no help, still trying to find the main issue.

Whenever I put gas in my car, it will not start right away. I have waited close to 15 minutes for my car to finally let me start it and leave the gas station. The check engine light is on. As I went to move forward, this is really bad, the road went up and it was angled, the car again, took off, as in my other report. Luckily I had my seatbelt on. I believe I had just shifted to drive, foot still on brake, and this car was like I had stomped down on the accelerator. Also luckily, I was not facing those horses! I couldn't believe it, car went flying up this road, brakes not working, I could steer, it was taking me right towards a busy road. My heart was pounding, going up this angled road, should have stopped the momentum, it did not. I turned the steering wheel, hard, to the right. Somehow as the tracks in the snow showed, the car did go to the right, but it kept going, across the road I was on, to the left side, into a ditch and a bale of hay! this was about 1 house from that main, busy road. With new tires. 1st a fedex driver saw what happened, asked about the tracks going to one side then the other. He tried to pull me out, but couldn't. Then a nice farmer and his gf stopped, he had a large 4-wheel drive, after an hour, even with shovels, we couldn't get out, he went back home, brought a 2nd truck, some ropes, they slowly dragged me out, away from hay stacks. They also noticed my basic s-curve, I couldn't stop, so I drove into the hay! this Ford did what it did before, took off with no pressure on the accelerator. It was stopped. I certainly didn't stomp down, I was braking and steering. I was stuck in freezing cold for 2+ hours. Then spent $325 on new brakes, rotors.

The contact stated there was a warning indicator of po456 and p1450. The contact stated there was an abnormal winding sound detected. Additionally, while driving the vehicle hesitated. Car turns off randomly when driving. Majority of the time it happens when the car is slowing down or turning. Check engine light just turned on 8/27 reading code po101 meaning there isn’t enough fuel getting to the engine or too much is going to the engine.

On April 11, 2021, the 2015 Ford Fiesta I was driving unintentionally accelerated into a commercial building at a shopping mall. The car had two incidents of accelerating while applying the brake prior to the final incident where the car ran into a wall and was totaled. The car had never exhibited any braking or acceleration issues before this day. The first incident, I was slowing down to go over a speed bump. As I was applying the brake, the car jerked forward then stopped. It drove as normal through traffic for the next 8 miles. I was close to my destination, as I was applying the brake at a stop light, the car sped up and stopped when I pulled the emergency brake. Again, the car drove fine for the next � mile. I was very aware while I was pulling into a parking space. Neither the brake or accelerator was applied as I was coasting into a space. As I applied the brake, the car sped up, jumped the curb and accelerated into the side of a building. According to a witness and supported by pattern of skid marks, at one point the car was airborne. With the distance of about 15 feet between the curb and wall, there was little time to react. In my attempt to pull the emergency brake, I injured my thumb. My passenger sustained various bruises from the seat belt and the front dashboard. Neither the driver nor passenger airbags deployed. According to the black box report, the car accelerated from 0-100% in the final 5 seconds and the brake was applied at 10%-55%, yet the car continued to accelerate. I did not remove my foot from the brake until after the car impact, which is supported by skid marks shown in photos. In August 2019, Ford motor was aware of a transmission clutch shutter issue, but still proceeded with selling the car to an auction. One month later, I purchased from a dealership.

I was in an accident in 2019 a few months after purchasing car since then my engine light was on. Had it serviced and the engine light was still on. Was told it could be a transmission problem. Every now and then it would shuttle once started. Today it didn't want to excellerate while driving.

Car wants to stall after getting fuel.

I own a 2015 Ford Fiesta and after refueling, the vehicle would not immediately start. After several time attempting the vehicle restarted, the vehicle would not accelerate properly and would loss motive power while driving and stalled at a red light. After driving for approximately one mile, the vehicle would not operate normally.

The transmission goes into nutural while driving creating a loss of power while in motion. The air bags will not deploy and the light indicatoe is turned on on the dash display. Gas milleage has greatly decreased.

Not sure if it's the fuel system or the power train but I am having the same problem as lots of other people with this car! the check engine light is on and has read a code for a valve. Engine light continues to come on. After adding gas to vechicle, ℂ𝕒𝕣 will stall. Sometimes takes several minutes to start. Was told by several mechanics it's the fuel system bc there is no cap, only the flap that doesn't close properly. Car has stalled while driving several times. Only 58,300 miles on vechicle. I've seen many complaints on this particular issue with this model. It is a safety issue when car stalls on highway or while driving. This has happened several times! car always has issues starting after adding gasoline.

My 2017 Ford Fiesta has a malfunctioning canister purge valve. I am having the same exact problem for which the 2018 Ford focus cars were recalled. My car is only 2 & 1/2 years old and it is stalling after I fill it up with gas. After filling up at the gas station, it will not start on the first try. It starts on the second, third, or fourth try. The check engine light is on now as well. The dealership says it is not covered by my warranty. I have 56,000 miles on it. This car needs to be recalled. They will not pay for the costly repairs due to their faulty purge control valve. The 2017 Ford Fiestas need to receive the same recall that the 2018 Ford focus cars did. This is the same problem! (I do not know if the evap system is considered to be under powertrain or fuel/propulsion system. ).

The car evap purge valve stays open. The car idles and dies everytime I put gas in. The purge valve was replaced less than a year of purchasing the car and it's gone bad again. The check engine light and engine malfunction warning came on then two days later the car died after I added gas and took 2 hours to start. I bought a new battery and drove it another week. It still idles after adding fuel even with the new battery. It finally died and I had it towed to the Ford dealer and they did a diagnostic and said the catalytic converter, throttle body and evao purge valve, O2 sensor is bad and all 3 needs replacing.

Every time gas is fill (and vehicle is off), once done pumping gas, the vehicle will not want to start right away, it will turn off while driving. This only occurs literately after pumping gas. 1/30/20 was the last time it was filled with gasoline. But every week gas is pumped it always happens. The manufacturer had been notified and referred her to NHTSA. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 61,800. Jo.

The vehicle is straining to pick back up speed once it comes to a stop or slows down. There also seems to be a clicking sound coming from the transmission on the driver side. It seems to have trouble switching over the years because it's a dual transmission I'm suspecting something's wrong with the clutch there seems to be a shutter.

Vehicle caught on fire underneath engine area, unsure why as of now but do have fire report. Bought vehicle Saturday and by Monday it was on fire. Oil was spilling out of bottom.

I have experienced repeated and frequent problems with my vehicle: shuts off for no reason daily, often at a traffic light or just after I begin accelerating; the transmission is faulty (has already been replaced once at 97,000 miles at great expense) and simply stops working at unexpected times (e.
