I had a recall I had my car taken to dealership in eldorado arkansas they charge me $440 and replaced a cooling fan that I had no problems with my car getting hot. A few weeks later I had recall tcm and later clutch shudder, after the last recall my car still having slow acceleration, it hesitates even worse.

My door all of sudden open when I was driving on the street while having my daughter in the back street which scared me. Thinking it was my door who open the door but I have the child safety on. But after pulling to the side I realize that's not problem. It was my door that does want to latch anymore .

When I refuel it takes several tries to get vehicle restarted and need to pump accelerator to keep it from dying. The smell of gas is bad. Come to a red light stalls and hard to restart. Air bag light on dash and never goes out. Rpm surge and car will lunge, very scary. Just started a loud clicking/thumping noise, found out could be actuator. Ac will stop blowing cool and begin again. Repair shop can't figure out why. For a new car has many issues for being out for such a short time.

When fuel is added to the vehicle, it will not start for 5-20 minutes after fuel is added and requires 3-5 attempts to start. Additionally, there have been times where once it starts and begins operating, it will lose power and shut off. This power loss has occurred multiple times after leaving the gas station parking loss, leading to being stalled while in motion on a roadway. This is a incredibly scary experience.

The engine malfunction service light came on and the sorry bottle position sensor keeps on saying it's spelt faulty, but when I replaced the throttle body and replaced the gas pedal it was still having issues, and now I'm barely getting to and from work anymore or anywhere else, even down the street because it continues to put itself in safe mode. So I am out for a thought of body and a gas pedal, and it's still not fixed the issue.

Recently at 48,000 miles my check engine light came on for a code p1450 and p0456 which is for the evap system. My vehicle now stalls when gas is filled up and even loses performance at high speeds.

The car will stutter every time after fueling up and sometimes stall while pulling out into oncoming traffic. This has been an ongoing defect since purchasing the car. I brought this to the dealers attention years ago and they did nothing about it. I have followed there refueling instructions per there manual since purchasing the car and this makes no difference. This should be a safety recall, this defect creates a very unsafe driving condition.

In the past one year every time I refuel my car works weird for a couple of miles. While I'm driving and stops at intersections or whatever reasons, it feels like the engine wants to stop (rpm drops to/below 500). After a few miles the problem is gone until the next refueling. All system is normal as per the computer / dealership diagnostics, and I couldn't figure out what is the reason.

After filling up, the car idles roughly. Rpms drop unexpectedly, and sometimes kill the engine. This has resulted in the car sporadically dying at intersections while idling and while shifting into first gear. The car has been doing it consistently after filling up with gas. Does not matter the gas station or fuel type (87, 91, 93 octane). No codes are thrown and dealership has been unable to duplicate problem.

Open recall for fuel system for this years car to those made up to June 2014. My car should fall under this as it will not pass emissions and therefore registration due to the fuel system which stalls out every time I fill up for gas. My car was manufactured in July. Additionally, the suspension needs to be completely replaced due to failure. Even my mechanic is completely baffled why a newer car would have so many safety issues.

For several months since I've had the car. It will from time to time stall out. Now it crank but won't start up. You can be driving or idle and the car shakes and stalls out. Due to this it caused my car to overheat. My car will crank but not move at all. The other issue since I bought the car it ran hot. So hot to the point that it crack the radiator hose. I replaced. The car would run hot if you sat idle while driving for too long.

Throttle sensor. Throttle body and throttle box. Even after replacing this. It's saying mechanical failure. And after checking it's still says throttle sensor.

Every time I fill up at the gas station, while my car is at an idle any time within driving a mile the idle drops like the engine wants to cut off or stall. After driving a mile it seems fine and no other problems until the next fill up. This happens every fill up. Tried leaving the gas nozzle in the fill hole for up to 10 seconds and it doesn't help.

Vehicle stalls at start up after gas is put in car, engine light is on and stalls when stopped while foot on break and stalls at times while driving on both side roads and highways. Has happened a handful of times. Engine light turns off for a couple days then turns back on and stays for months at a time.

After filling the car with fuel, car tries to stall and drop rpm's while idling. Car stalled twice while rolling to a red light after filling up. Problem goes away after 10-15 minutes of driving. Rpm while idling is highly unpredictable after filling up.

The car will not start properly after refueling. You have to press on the gas several times and then the brake to start it. When it does start, you need to rev the engine a couple times to make sure it won't die again. The transmission is now slipping and drops to neutral while driving at any given time. It happened to me twice this morning while driving on the interstate. When it finally gets back into gear, it lurches forward. This morning I was nearly in an accident because of this new development in a 2 year old car. I will never buy a Ford again, this is too dangerous for anyone valuing their lives.

While idling at stop lights or city driving the car will drop rpm's or stall out on it's own. Has happened while making a u-turn, turning, and idling. It happens randomly and Ford will not take the issue seriously.

For the past few months I've been trying to figure out what's been happening with my vehicle. I have a 2011 Ford Fiesta. It is a manual. I'm not stalling it, but when I'm driving- whether I'm stopped or actually moving (even at 45 + mph) it will completely shut off. The rpms sometimes fall 2-300 below randomly but will come back and keep going. Takata recall. Every time I put fuel in my car it hesitates. Sometimes it cuts off and sometimes it just shakes and almost cuts off. It hesitates when I don't put fuel in it but it does it worse everytime I put fuel in it. The transmission doesn't change gears sometimes. I have to let it coast to get it to change gears or I have to stop then go. If I yield then go with out completely stopping the transmission won't change gears unless I let it coast until it changes or stop and let it change before I proceed.

The natural vacuum leak detection pump on my vehicle needs to be replaced . A review on line shows that this device which is part of the emissions system is continuously backordered for months. Indicatiing a high failure rate. This pump is essential in that it permits the car to be filled at a gas pump. In failure you can only fill a gallon at a time before the valve in it closed and you have to remove the nozzle and start again.

I am having issues with the fueling system each and every time I will put gas in my car will shut off after it is turned on.

I was leaving las vegas, going 70 mph down hill and my car started to loose power while it produced a lot of white smoke. I was in a very dangerous situation and was stranded for 4 hrs in the middle of nowhere. The car never gave symptoms just died. No check engine or overheating, oil, coolant. I was traveling on a trip so I did have luggage but I never maxed car weight. The car is 2 years old with less than 48,000 miles. I've done all my maintenance on my car early than stickers and don't drive hard. Since I've had the car I've added about 10,000 miles. Back to what happened, I was able to get towed to barstow for free but mechanic I was referred to was closed. Frustrating and emotionally scaring. I had to cut a deal with the tow company to drive me as close as possible to my home in 94536 zip area. But I could only afford to san jose. The next day I ordered another roadside assistance to fremont Ford dealer and have to wait until it's convenient for them to diagnose it for 179. I haven't slept in 48 hrs and Ford needs to compensate me for distress. My confidence in the car and experience is on a string.

Vehicle displayed inaccurate fuel info (mpg, miles til empty) and would stall after fueling; dealership noted that defective canister purge valve was the cause.

Transmission warning light and message plus sync note about vapor leak. Dealer says may be ok to drive. Or may refuse to start at any moment. Already ran 3 previous recalls, one r transmission.

Issues involving class action lawsuit.

For about a year in a half now when I put gas in my car and go to start the car, it will sputter and shut off. It will do this for about 5 mins after getting gas. Then I will drive away. When waiting to pull out of the gas station it will shut off. Recently when the car is in park it will sputter a little rpms will go from 1 to almost 0. Today 9/12/2019 I was slowing down to a red light and the car just shut off. I coasted up to the light put it in park and started it again. It sputtered and as I came up to the next red light it did it again. This does this no matter how much gas is in the car when I fill up. The dealer won't do anything about it cause it's not under recall. This is very unsafe. I have kids in my car. Not what I want going on with them in the car and in traffic daily.

I have been experiencing transmission problems including the car stalling when accelerating while trying to complete turns in traffic during turn signals. I have at one point a situation at a stop light where brakes were applied and car went forward unexpectedly. Additionally since almost the beginning of the vehicle it has run rough, sometimes having difficulty changing gears, multiple incidents where it stalled when accelerating on interstate. Had 2 different repairs to review problem, including Ford computer fix that was supposed to help, but did not. This happened multiple times for these instances. Instance I demoted on calendar involved vehicle stalling at turns which has happened multiple times as well.

Upon easy acceleration, the throttle response goes dead at 20 to 30 mph, the car slows down to a crawl yet the engine seems to idle well. . . My car has automatic transmission. . Fearing rear end collision.

Every single time I stop to put gas in my car I turn my car off pump my gas and once I crank my car back up for at my car dies and I have to turn my ignition off then restart my car. And then my car will start to flutter like it's having trouble getting gas to go into the right place.

Ford Fiesta, 2012 are not worth anyone's money. The moment I got it, the a/c would not blow anything out, my car would stop at stop signs and in the middle of the road when not in motion and trying to pass traffic, which is completely life threatening. It has a bunch of electrical issues and will start flashing (the warning signs) and then stop randomly. It is jerking at almost all times and shuts off a ton, I have gotten it checked multiple times and spent more than I can afford. This vehicle is ridiculous and I intend to tell everyone I know!!! I am always scared when driving my own car that I spent thousands on, Ford needs to figure this out.
