My vehicle is affected by recall 25v695. Ford dealership confirmed no remedy parts are available and cannot provide a timeline. This vehicle is part of my commercial fleet and I am unable to operate it, resulting in significant financial loss. The manufacturer issued a recall with no available fix, leaving owners stranded indefinitely.

My 2015 Ford Flex is affected by recall 25v695 for the rear view camera inspection. I contacted my local Ford dealership to have the recall addressed and was told that no remedy parts are available at any dealership. They could not provide a timeline for when parts would be in stock. This vehicle is part of my commercial fleet and cannot be operated or rented until the recall is resolved. I am losing over $1,200 per month in revenue because Ford issued a recall with no fix available. Owners should not be forced to absorb open-ended financial losses because the manufacturer cannot supply the parts needed to complete its own recall.

On or about January 22, 2026 when I put my 2019 Ford Flex in reverse the rear view camera displayed a torn and/or flickering picture for the first time ever that I had seen. The image will occasionally stop with an inverted camera image. Since then the camera display on the dash board will at times also display a message saying something like "rear view camera not available" with no camera image at all. Occasionally the camera image will be normal intermittently. Moving the transmission select lever to park or other locations besides reverse and back to reverse does not seem to correct the camera image problem. This problem was first noticed in my 2019 Ford Flex on or about January 22, 2026. About 13 months ago I received a recall notice in the usps mail advising that I would be contacted about the recall for this problem. So far, no contact has been received by me. Now that the camera problem has started in my vehicle trying to back up and avoid obstacles or people has become a large concern due to the blind spot behind the vehicle without the camera working.

I just purchased a 2019 Ford Flex in September from bessette motors in carrington nd. When I purchased the vehicle the rear backup camera had an inverted image. The dealership told me they would bring my car back in the following week to fix the camera because the said someone must have flipped the camera over accidently. They have not fixed it, nor they did not tell me the camera issue was part of a recall. I have had the vehicle now for over a month and still have an upside-down back up camera. It has nearly caused multiple accidents because I cannot turn it off and it's very distracting being inverted. I see the recall for my vehicle has been out since December 2024. That is a long time for no fix!! it is dangerous to continue to drive my vehicle the way it is with no fix.
The rear- view back up camera does not operate properly when vehicle is put in reverse. It works intemittedly. Sometimes image is black, sometimes upside down, sometime, works properly, sometime image freezes, and sometimes shows error camera not working contact dealership. Reduces the the ability to see what is behind the vehicle when backin up and increases the risk of crash.

Backup camera is not working at all; there is a blank blue screen that appears with a warning that states: camera is unavailable. There is an open recall #NHTSA #24v951 and #24s75. Walker Ford dealership was called today 10/14/2025 and stated there are no cameras available at this time for the recall. The parking sensors are no longer working because the backup camera is not working. My safety and others are at risk because I do not have any sensors to warn me if I am in a blind spot backing up.
Audio throughout the entire vehicle are malfunctioning as well as the reverse camera malfunction. This has caused a collision the 11th of October. The acm is severely malfunctioning and causing a huge safety hazard. No audio like radio, etc and alerts make sound not touch panel tones. Camera unavailable alert showed up as well as media unavailable showed on screen.

While driving at highway speeds the side b pillar panel became unattached and broke off.
Media player unavailable alert comes on display. Touch panel tone doesn’t have sound, audio in car has no sound. Sync 3 has been updated. Problem continues as well as the rear camera issue.
Hello, I recently submitted a safety complaint regarding my 2017 Ford Flex. The complaint number is xxx. I would like to add additional information that I forgot to include in the original report. The vehicle’s power liftgate has intermittently opened on its own while the vehicle was parked. There have been occasions where I came outside and found the liftgate open overnight in my driveway. This issue appears to be intermittent and part of the same electrical problems affecting the backup camera system described in my complaint. Please add this information to my existing complaint. Thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Rear view camera under Ford recall 25sa9 has been malfunctioning for months 3 separate Ford dealers tell me they do not have parts even though it's been 2 months since the recall notice. Ford 1-800 number does not recognize the recall number.
Safety recall notice 24s75 / NHTSA recall 24v951 is not being addressed in a timely manner. The notice is from January 2025 and it is now late September with no progress.
Rear camera stopped working years ago. Will only work briefly after collision warning alert goes off which goes off randomly even when there are no other vehicles in the area.
I am having the same issues that were recalled in the 2019 Ford Flex backup camera. My 2015 Ford Flex backup camera is malfunctioning, going black, flipping the image and flashing randomly. It has progressively gotten worse.
Back up camera works intermittently. Black screen, camera not available, works for short period of time then goes blank, and upside down camera have all been exhibited .
My rear camera has stopped working and Ford has issue with many models with this same problem.
Back up camera is disabled when backing up. It is not consistent with backing up making it a safety concern. The beeping seems to work but the camera will be black.

The backup camera is dysfunctional. It shows an inverted, upside-down image, sometimes it is just black or unavailable, it is glitchy. It is available for inspection upon request. The errors have made it unsafe to backup or see oncoming (from the rear) traffic. It is a known issue with a known recall. It is still ongoing with no solution "parts are not available" - for an unreasonable amount of time. It's a 2019. It's had problems since it was designed, yet it's six years later and Ford has not come up with a solution. I have had it inspected by the Ford service department at the local dealership, and they have no clue other than that it's under recall without a solution. Sometimes the system tells you the camera isn't working, other times it doesn't. Where is the enforcement?.
Apim is failing due to current recall with reverse camera. The glitching has cause many safety issues including •navigation fault •cracking/popping audio •missing touchscreen sounds •intermittent system issues •slow loading •camera freezing or blacking out this has already caused a collision with my vehicle. Took it to manufacturer (Ford dealership) and they told me nothing they can do until recall has parts ready. Prior to all this, my car system was working just fine up until August 2025. No issues at all.
The backup camera on my Flex has stopped working. It displays a scrambled image or nothing at all and an error message saying the ‘camera is not available’. This is dangerous, as I could back up and injure someone. I see Ford has a recall underway for millions of vehicles with this problem and the fix is a software update. I suggest NHTSA look into including the Flex in the recall, because this appears to be the same problem.
The rear-facing camera in the tailgate of my 2017 Ford Flex is defective and is experiencing the same issue included within the recent NHTSA campaign # 25v572000. The fact that the 2017 Ford Flex is not included within the recall is highly suspect and should be investigated further. Our safety and the safety of others is put at risk because the driver could accidentally back up into an object or individual, causing damage, injury or loss of life. The issue is reproduceable and has happened a number of times, and has been confirmed by our local dealer, shawnee mission Ford. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer directly (other than through the dealership), police, insurance, or others. There are no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms other than those expressly noted in the aforementioned campaign.
My back up camera not working blanking out dorstort screen.
My 2016 Ford Flex’s reverse camera has been shorting out, blinking off and on. If the camera does come on the picture is upside down. This has been happening for over a month and I have not had it looked at. This is similar to the most recent back up camera recall for other Ford vehicles for this year range.
Rear backup camera constantly blacks out or inverts itself.
This be chile was purchased by me when living in the united states and imported when I moved back to canada. The rear camera frequently shows as not working, goes blank or picture breaks up. It’s an on going problem, which makes parking and backing up problematic.
Back up camera cuts out/ goes blank at random. This is a safety issue as objects behind the car can not be seen. There currently a recall for this issue, however, only certain months of production. The recall needs to widen to include all 2019 Ford Flex vehicles. No warning prior to notify it is not working until rear camera is activated by placing the car in reverse. Screen is blank.
While driving down the highway the black door panel next to the window flew off from the front passenger door and the rear drivers side passenger door. These were not loose or of concern previous to this happening. My concern when this happened is that it would hit another driver's vehicle and damage it, or potentially cause an accident because I was on the highway. Had I been on our pedestrian street, what if this happened and hit someone? I see there is a recall for other Ford Flex doors, but I'm not sure if this is the same issue. There were no warnings that this may happen, we noticed when they hit the rear windows when they detached and my children yelled about something hitting their window.
B pillar keyless entry panel became mostly detached while car was operating at highway speeds. My safety and the safety of others was compromised due to my alarm at the noise of the panel striking my vehicle. Panel struck my vehicle several times before the top half broke off and was lost, which also may have compromised the safety of drivers following me, as I did not see where it flew off to. Bottom half of panel is still attached by wiring and I have it secured to vehicle with tape. No warnings or notifications preceded this event. I didn't report it yet because I have not had time to find a replacement part. I recently saw that this may be a widespread issue among 2019 Flexes and not something I somehow caused to happen.
The camera shows upside down and rear parking aid doesn't work. Recall 25v442000 is for the same thing. But Ford dealer said it doesn't apply.
I repaired 1 door ajar dsf under warranty had to pay for 2 doors psf & psr due to out of warranty now there’s a recall but I’m over 250,000 miles ,so Ford refuses to to cover the door handle sensor recall.
The rear backup camera is upside down. The rear backup distance alarm doesn't work. This has been recalled in other years. The price to repair in unreasonable. Its like not having a rear camera. This is a common problem. Please help.
When the backup camera first malfunctioned everything was upside down. When I went online I was told to disconnect the battery cable, which seemed to fix it until the next time I put it in reverse. Now it works one out of ten times. It either shows objects upside down or the screen is filled with flashing blue and green or goes completely blank. It then shows "camera unavailable," I am very dependent on this camera so I'm anxious to get it repaired.
When I go in reverse my camera suddenly turns off or goes upside down risking property damage and personal injury. It doesn't happen every time just out of know where.
Backup camera has not worked for long time. Bartow Ford said part not available for recall but if I want to pay 823, they have the part. Without a backup camera it is like backing up a whale blindfolded.
Keypad on driver’s side door became dislodged on the highway, flailed around, hitting the side of the car and window in the process. It then proceeds to break in half and flies off going down the highway. Then since the bottom half is still plugged in, it was flopping around and hitting the car while going down the highway. Extremely dangerous.
