Radio/tape Cd Player Problems of Ford Flex

The sync system stopped working and unable to find the error or issues. Searched internet and appears to be common issue with vehicle. The radio would make a glitching sound and then continue to play until it completely stopped about 5 weeks ago. The vehicle was parked and when attempting to start car the radio was dead.

2 issues 1) the front passenger door though closed is read as a warning "door ajar". The warning stays on at all times. It drains the battery and I have replaced the battery once since owning the 2013 Ford Flex when purchased in 2016 with just under 20,000 miles on it. The interior lights stay on from starting the engine until accelerated speed. The interior lights after parked stay on for a minimum of 30 minutes though it could be longer contributing to draining the vehicle battery. 2) the vehicle began to feel as if it is pulled while in commute. Not starting right away or shuts down/stalls. It has stalled and not turned over though the lights and radio work. Fortunately this has happened after being parked in my parking spot. It will not turn over, but the next morning it will start. After reading about similar issues for other Ford Flex vehicles last week with my vehicle doing the above action I replaced the fuel pump relay module. Which is located in the rear passenger area between rear passenger door and furthest rear window where the seat belt pulls from I felt I had resolved the issue. However, a week exactly later I attempted to start my vehicle when the exact scenario happened all over again. Vehicle would not start, but lights and radio worked. Left alone overnight I went to start it this morning and it starts. Through out the duration of this issue of stalling, not starting, pulling while in motion as it feels like the vehicle is being jerked there is no check engine light or when checking system the only warning is passenger seat ajar.

Shortly after I purchased my Ford Flex we noticed a horrible exhaust smell inside the vehicle as we were driving down the road. I took it to the Ford dealership where we bought it to be looked at and they did several things and told me they couldn't fix it and didn't know how and that there were several other owners of Flexes that had the same complaint but couldn't fix either. I called the Ford manufacturer myself and they have directed many things to be done to my vehicle by different dealerships, still no results!!! my car has been in the shop longer than I have had it in my possession. There are many other things wrong with it including the radio they can't seem to fix like the screen partially disappearing etc. . One time we were sitting with the windows down because it was a nice day while one of us ran in to get the drink we paid for and forgot and the fumes were sooo bad we had to put the windows up and drive around before I passed out. I tried to lemon law it but it was sold to me incorrectly so until I get a lawyer I'm stuck with it in the shop again while the Ford motor company pretends to care!!!! also my problem started at about 10,500 miles. Nothing will be done to correct this problem until someone dies(maybe) or they are made to! I can tell you I've never had such a bad situation in all my life and if the Ford company offered me a hundred thousand dollar car for free I wouldn't take it unless I could sell it to some other poor stupid soul. I also have some kind of schreaking noise in my front end now, the torture never ends. Someone help!!!!!!!!!!!.

For no apparent reason, the electrical on my dashboard went out. I was told it was called the front interface. It has never been mistreated, abused nor has it ever been exposed to moisture or liquids. I can't use or adjust the radio, satellite, cd player, nor the heat and air. However, the heat is on full blast and the Ford dealership I visited about the problem says they can't turn the heat off. I was told it was a front interface problem. This is a $600-$700 problem that I don't feel is the consumers'. My car is not that old. . . Is taken very good care of. Ford needs to fix this problem. The dealership says the part is on a month back order. If this is an infrequent problem, how come it takes so long to find this interface. Just wanting to let other Ford drivers know of this problem if they have experienced this as well. This is my fourth Ford vehicle and I'm starting to have regrets. Please give me some feedback about this interface.
